Chapter 42

Min-Seo's POV

We arrived back in Seoul after our vacation. Wonho and I went back to where his car has been parked. He drove us back to my place. My parents had lunch ready when we got there.

"I wonder where Shownu and them are," Wonho asked.

"Same. Maybe they went out to eat," I said.

We started to eat and I showed my parents some pictures.

"You wore that," my dad said

"Yeah. Don't worry I covered up most of the time," I said.

We all laughed and continued eating. I went over to Wonho's house after we ate. Seo-Young and Shownu met us there. We stayed in the living room chatting.

"So how does it feel knowing your parents are in jail away from you guys," Shownu asked.

"Great, I feel free, stress free, and not worried," Wonho said.

Shownu and Seo-Young left an hour later and it was me and Wonho. It started to rain and it got heavier by the minute. I decided to stay over his place for the night.

Me: Omma I'm going to stay with Wonho for the night. [Sent]
Mom: Araso but don't so anything crazy. [Recieved]
Me: OMMA! [Sent]
Mom: I'm joking.
No but seriously, don't do anything stupid. [Recieved]

As it was getting darker outside, I went to take a shower. Wonho gave me one of his t-shirts and sweatpants to wear for the night. When I came out Wonho was cooking something. I went up behind him and gave him a back hug. He turned around and laughed.

"It's so big on you," he said.

"I know."

I grabbed my plate and started eating. We shared a plate and then did the dishes. He went to take a shower so I decided to look around the place. I went into one room and saw a bunch of pictures torn on the floor. I looked at them closer and saw a family picture ripped into pieces. I tried putting them together and finally got to see how Jooheon looked like. I heard the water turn off. I quickly got up and was about to go out the door but forgot to mess up the pictures. I got out in time, before he came out. I jumped onto the couch and turned the tv on.

"That was quick," I said.

He went into his room to put his towel away. I took a deep breath in and out. He came back out and joined me on the couch. As the tv was on we could hear the heavy rain falling down. Around nine we headed to our rooms to sleep. Before I could go into the guest room, he pulled me into his room. We went under the covers and was in each others arms. He put my head to his chest and had his arms around me. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

It's been two weeks since Wonho's parents trial. Wonho was in America with Seo-Young to fix their parents company. They were coming back in two days. Shownu and I were walking to school and met Min Hyuk there. He was with Ji-Yu, on the bleachers as usual. We walked up to the roof to talk.

"How long is Wonho and Seo-Young going to stay in America," Min Hyuk asked.

"Only two weeks. They are coming back in two days," Shownu said.

"What are they doing again," Ji-Yu asked.

"They are talking to other companies that are partners with their parents company. They want to make sure that they are still partners but help them fix the company and give back the money that was stolen," I said.

After school we went out to eat to celebrate last day of school. I was happy but wished Wonho and Seo-Young was here with us. I went home after eating lunch and Shownu walked me home.

"So are you and Seo-Young dating," I asked.

"Not yet," he answered.

"What happened to Ji-Woo?"

"She... I don't know actually. One day she wants to be with me, the next she doesn't. She tells me she loves me but then tells me she doesn't want anything to do with me. Then all of sudden she comes running back to me."

"Do you know why," I asked.

"Nope."

We arrived at my house and I gave him a hug. I went inside and saw my parents in the living room. I went in between them and watched tv with them.

"How was last day of school," my parents asked.

"Good. Boring though," I said.

I walked to my room and went on my phone.

Me: Hey [Sent]
Wonho: Hi. How you doing? I miss you so much! Can't wait to come home. [Recieved]
Me: I'm doing okay. I miss you too. How is it going over there. [Sent]
Wonho: Okay. Could be better but some of the companies were willing to help. [Recieved]
Me: What are you doing now? [Recieved]
Wonho: Resting right now. About to go to another meeting in 20 minutes. [Sent]
Me: Alright. I'll let you rest. See you soon. [Sent]
Wonho: Okay. I'll see you. [Recieved]

I went to sleep but then woke up around midnight. I stayed on my phone for about three hours on Youtube. I woke up early in the morning and my dad finally decided to teach me how to drive. We would go out and drive for an hour then come back. Since it was summer I got a part time job at a nearby convenience store.

After work one day, Ji-Yu and I went shopping for some summer clothing. We went to eat at a food stand and she drove me back home. I put my clothes away and went downstairs. My parents were doing paper work so I went outside and practiced parking. I went inside and helped my mom cook dinner afterwards.

I went to sleep early to get ready for work. In the morning my parents also were getting ready to go to work. We made breakfast before leaving.

"You want us to drop you off at work honey," my mom asked.

"Yeah sure," I answered.

"Hey I scheduled you to take your drivers test next week, is that okay," my dad asked.

"Yeah. Gomawo appa."

We got into the car after breakfast and they dropped me off at work. I waved goodbye and went inside. I was working from eight to three in the afternoon. One of my other co-worker came in for his shift. He came over to the cash register and stood next to me.

"Good morning Min-Seo," he said.

"Good morning Chang Kyhun."

"Call me I.M," he would say.

"No."

He was always flirting with me and I didn't like it. I'd try avoiding him but it still didn't work. He would just follow me around. Sometimes when no one is around he would try trapping in the corner of the storage room. I didn't want to quit and not make any money. So I've been trying my best to not flip out on him. When the manager came in, I asked him if I could change shift but no one else was willing to switch.

I was walking home, when I saw someone on the porch. I squinted my eyes to see who it was.

"Yah! Min-Seo ppalli," someone said.

I walked closer and saw it was Wonho. I dropped my bags and ran to him. I jumped into his arms and hugged him tight. He helped me pick up my bags and we went inside. I went to clean up and change my clothes. When I got downstairs my parents were home.

"Min-Seo, let's go eat out," Wonho said.

I looked at my parents and they nodded their heads. I grabbed Wonho's hands and my parents came along. We went out to eat out at a buffet. They took our orders for drinks and then we left the table. I grabbed my food, mainly sushi, and headed back to our table. The waitress just finished putting our drinks down. Wonho came afterwards. I scarfed my first plate down and was ready for my second plate.

I waited for a bit until Wonho finished and left with him to get seconds. As I was getting my food, I saw Chang Kyhun enter with Ki Hyun. I grabbed my food quickly and walked away leaving Wonho alone still getting his food. I didn't want to see them or have them see me. Especially now that Wonho's back.
