Chapter 22

A few week later

Just a couple days before, Wonho and I were talking on the phone like we have been. We talked about our days and sometimes how much we wanted to die. We both hated what was going on in our lives. But then he brought up about how it was hard to keep this relationship. He said it was best for us to break up. I lied and said I agreed. For the next couple of days I stayed home crying in my bed and was
feeling under the weather.

I walked into the school and saw Bora and Yun-Seo at my locker.

"Awe here comes the little depressed girl. Your boyfriend probably left because he was sick of you," Bora said while Yun-Seo just laughed.

I just ignored her like I have been doing for the past few weeks. Ever since Wonho left, Bora and Yun-Seo started tormenting me and bothering me. I was sick of her and her idiot friend. As I was walking away from them, they grabbed my hair. I dropped my stuff and was pulled back to them.

"Did I say you could leave," Bora said.

I whacked her arms out of my hair and punched her hard in the face. I made a fist to Yun-Seo but she jumped behind Bora. I slapped Bora hard in the face again.

"Shut the hell up. I don't need you to be talking to me like that. Go torment some other kid."

I walked away and went into the bathroom. Ji-Yu saw me and chased after me.

"Min-Seo kwenchana," she said fixing my hair.

"No. Ow that hurts," I said trying to deal with the pain.

"Mianhae. Just hold still for now," she said.

"Gomawo," I said as she finished.

I walked back out to see Principal Jung and Miss. Jeon with Bora on the ground. Bora pointed at me and Principal Jung called out to me. I walked towards him and was lead to his office by Miss. Jeon. She asked me what happned but I ignored her. I was placed in his office and had to wait for Principal Jung to come. He closed the door loudly and sat down. He looked pissed off at me.

"What's going on now," he asked. So I told him what had been happening for the last few weeks since Wonho had left.

"Why didn't you come and talk to us," he asked.

"I fight my own battles," I said.

"But fighting is not the answer," he said.

"If it's going to shut her mouth, yes it is. I don't care if I get in trouble. She needs to know I'm not someone to mess with," I said.

"Kim Min-Seo," he said. I realized what I said and apologized.

"3 days of detention for you," he said.

I grabbed my binders and walked out of his office. I saw Bora with an ice pack to her face sitting down. I smirked at her and left. I'm so done with people at this damn school. Why was I ever friends with her.

I went back to class and was going to sit back down at my seat. But then I saw someone sit where Wonho use to sit, next to me. At first I just stood there until Mr. Lee noticed me.

"Kim Min-Seo please sit down," he said.

"Oh neh. Mianhae," I said putting my books down not staring at whoever was next to me. He tapped me on the shoulders and I turned to face him.

"Annyeong, I'm Yoo Kihyun," he said with his hands out. I slightly shook his hand and bowed my head.

"Annyeong, I'm Kim Min-Seo," I said.
