Chapter 10

"No freakin way" I said as I took in where we were

"Don't tell me you've never been to an arcade" he said as we walked inside

It was actually the contrary this was one of my all time favourite arcades.After Chloe,my older sister ,moved out to live with her husband I had a lot of free time.

One day when I was walking around I came across this place and ever since it had been one of Emily's and I's favourite hangout places

"Please don't tell me your one of those girly girls who hates video games" he said cringing

"No. I love them, I come here all the time with my best friend Emily" I said grinning as I took everything in

It has been a little over 3 weeks since I've been because of everything that's has happened but it's exactly like I remember it. The place opened up a while back and had every video you could imagine.

"Pac man" I said excitedly running up to the game, there were two controllers which I'm guessing was if you wanted to play with a partner

"Give me a second I'll go get the tickets" said Xavier before walking off

I just sat down on the stool and decided to look around until Xavier came back

"Why hello there" said some guy as he walked up to me

"Umm hi" I said not knowing who he was

"The names Brody" he said taking a seat next to me

"Cool" I said awkwardly looking around for Xavier or really anyone to get me out of this situation

"So babe what are you doing here all alone" he asked scooting closer to me

"I'm with a friend and I would really appreciate if you would leave me alone" I said backing away

"Why don't you come with me, ditch your friend, it's not like he'll care" said Brody smirking

Is this guy serious

"I think i would care" said Xavier coming to my side

Oh thank goodness I'm saved

"What man, we can share" said Brody and I gasped shocked of what he just said

"Excuse me" I said just about ready to punch the living daylights out of him

"You heard me, I mean you probably don't have any brains but your hot so" he said shrugging

"Don't you talk to her like that" said Xavier pushing Brody back

"Whatever man, it's the truth, she's just another slut" said Brody and Xavier suddenly grabbed his shirt collar pushing him against the wall

"Xavier" I screamed surprised

"Why don't you get out of my face before I rearrange yours" Xavier said menacingly before practically pushing the guy out of the store

"Xavier why did you do that" I said

"He deserved it" Xavier said angrily

"Doesn't mean you can go around threatening people"

"Whatever lets just go play" he said going up to the pac man game

"I can't just let this go" I said going up to him

"Game started, round 1" said the machine and Xavier started to control his pac man

"No far" I said rushing to take my seat and start the game but it was too late and Xavier already had a head start
