She turned around in every direction with a confused expression. She reached to her side and grabbed a dark-purple sword.

"Hello?" She asked in a gentle voice.

Just when she was about take a step something appeared behind her. She turned around and looked at the object. It was a black.

She slowly started to walk to the object and stared at it. Then she brought her hand up to touch it but then something black struck her hand, like lightning. She pulled her hand back.

Then the object started to glow on and off. Then it was surrounded by something black. The girl stepped back.

Everything changed, from a white world to a forest. Behind the girl was a village, a man at the front gates gripping a dark purple sword.

The girl looked at her hands. She could see through herself and she looked terified.

Ebele's POV

What the heck just happened? I was just in a world that was completely white, then this dark-purple object appeared and started to be active, and now I'm a ghost? I thought as I stared at my hands, which I can see through.

Now that I think about it, how and why was I in that place. And what was I doing before I was in there. I tried to recall what happened but I couldn't remember.

I looked around and I was standing in front of my home village, Falconclaw. And a man so familiar to me in front of the gates, my big brother Aaron. In front of him was his dark-purple sword, Apollo.

"A-aaron?" I questioned.

"Ebele." He responded.

I walked up to him with a smile. I wanted to hug him, but I would have gone through him. But the closer I got to him, the more I saw the inside of Falcon Claw. I saw some people lying on the ground.

When Aaron saw my reaction, he immediately looked depressed.

"Aaron?"

He stayed silence as he picked up his sword.

"Aaron, what happened?" I asked.

"I think you should find out yourself. I don't have the courage to tell you." He said as he leaned on the side of the gates wall.

I was so confused. I decided to see Falconclaw but what I saw was horrible. When I walked in, I didn't sense life in the village. I went over to the person on the ground I saw earlier.

It was a man I've never seen before. I kneeled down next to him and I was right. This man was dead.

I continued to look in every house, hoping that someone was alive. It was painful to see that some of those people were my friends, people I knew, and just bystanders. The last place I had to look was Aaron's house.

I took a deep breath and went inside. I looked around to see my sister-in-law, Lily and my nephew, Jacob. I couldn't take this and felt weak in my knees. I fell and cried.

After a while, I left the house and went back to Aaron. He was starting a fire.

"A-aaron, what happened here?" I asked.

He stayed silence.

"Please tell me."

"Fine I'll tell you." He said as he stared at the village.

"It all started at dawn. Jacob had come back from exploring beyond the walls. He came back with a strange amulet he was given from a man named Zane. I told him to give it to me and he did as I said."

He paused to take a deep breath in.

"I told him he shouldn't take things from strangers. Then the amulet started to glow bright and the next thing I knew, my son and wife were lying dead. Not just them, but when I went outside everyone in the village was dead." He said as he clutched his fists.

"Then I found Zane at the gates, laughing, like he had won some game."

At the end of that sentence, I remembered what had happened before I went into that white world. Aaron saw my expression.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"I remembered what happened before I got here." I said as tears start to fall down.

"What?" He asked.

"Before I got here I-i remember. I was in Scaleswind with Aldhard and the kids-"

"Wait who's Aldhard and when did you have children." Aaron asked.

"It's a story for another time, but I had a fight with Aldhard and left Scaleswind. Then I traveled to Falconclaw and when I arrived at the front gates-"

An image of a man with black hair and pale blue eyes, in a white outfit with a white hood.

"This man dressed in white was waiting at the gates. I thought he was a traveler, but I sensed darkness in his heart." I said.

"I pulled out Artemis and was about to strike him but he blocked it. Then he pulled out a black object. Then a bright light came from it and."

"And?" He asked.

"That's all I remember." I responded.

I decided not to tell him about the white world and the black circle thing.

"Did you know Zane? Do you know why he did this?" Aaron asked.

"To us it's torture, but to him it's a game where he's always wining." I replied.

We sat in silence and I couldn't stand it.

"I made a decision," he said as he stood up." I'm going to find that man and kill him."

"Then count me in" I said." But can you do me a favor?"

He agreed. I wanted him to write a letter to Aldhard and my kids. Once he finished the letter, he left it at my house. And that's when we start our search for that horrible man.
