Ebele's POV

"You guess?" I asked." It was a close call. Before he got shot, I told Nekoette-Tan that everythings going to be okay."

"Oh," he said." That man does seem like a loyal guard."

"You're right," I said." A guard waiting for his lord to come back for fifteen years. That's beyond incredible."

"I'm impressed..." he said.

"So..." I trailed off.

"So what?" He asked.

"I was wondering..." I said." What do you think of Phoenix Drop?"

"I guess... it's a good place to live," He answered." What about you?"

"I think it's a strong village," I answered." Phoenix Drop kept on going after their lord was gone. I'd say I'm impressed."

Then I saw Dante and his family leaving. Nekoette-Tan looked at us with a huge smile and a happy wave. I smiled and nodded my head.

She's so adorable, I just want to play with her. I giggled and looked out from the tree. I feel like this place can... be something more.

I don't know, it's just a feeling. Then I felt a sharp pain in my chest. This time it hurt so bad that I had to knel down.

"Ebele?" He whispered as he looked down at me.

I was about to respond when everything turned white. The pain is gone and I stood up. I didn't see the demon but, then I felt a powerful arua.

I turned around and felt terified. It was the black object that One-eyed used on me. I felt my heart beat fast and grabbed Artemis.

My grip tighten when purple static started to surround it. I took deep breaths and slowly let go of Artemis. I slowly walk towards it.

I raised my right hand to touch but something grabbed my wrist. It was the demon and his expression wasn't happy. He pulled me towards him and jumped far away from the object.

I didn't like him grabbing me so I struggled in his grip.

"Let me go!" I yelled.

"You shouldn't touch that..." he said as let me go.

"What?" I said.

"That object will take sone of your life spans if you touch it..." he answered.

"How do you know that?" I asked as I looked at the object.

"How is because I've seen it before..." he answered.

I stayed quiet and just starred at the object. It bothers me that I don't know anything about the object.

"What do you know about it?" I asked as I looked at him.

"Not much..." he answered." Just stay away from that, unless you want to die early."

"Is that all you know?" I asked anoyyed.

He didn't answer.

"I'll take that as a yes," I said." And did you summon me just for this?"

"I didn't summon you..." he answered." That object just appeared out of nowhere."

"So you really don't know anything else about it?" I asked.

He stayed quiet for a minute and answered.

"It's called "Suteru." It was created by a witch named Hazel five-hundred years ago. I don't know what it's ment for, but this is the first time I've seen it in fifty years..."

"Do you know how it's made?" I asked.

"Black magic, I guess..." he answered.

"And you don't know how it functions?" I asked.

"... not a clue..." he answered." Also I tried something while you were away..."

"Which is?" I asked.

"When your far away from your brother's sword, you won't disappear or feel any pain..." he answered as he crossed his arms." I was getting tired of hearing you complain..."

"Well sorry," I said sarcastically." It's not my fault, plus the pain is unbearable. You wouldn't understand..."

"Physical pain is nothing..." he said." It's the emotional..."

"What?" I asked.

"You should be heading back to reality..." he said as he snapped his fingers." It'll be harder to work with you around..."

"Hey!-" I yelled.

My voice didn't come out and slowly the white world stated to fade away, along with the demon and object. I was... confused. Why did the demon... did what he did?

I looked around and I was still in the tree. Aaron wasn't here anymore so I left. I don't really know where to go next, but I should try to find Aaron.

I walk passed Nekoette-Tan's house and I saw Aphmau talking to Kyle. Just as I walk up to her she goes. I wonder what they were talking about...

I decided to follow Aphmau as she made her way near Kiki's barn. I looked in and saw Laurence Lady Katelyn, Kenmur and Emmalyn. Once Laurence saw Aphmau he explained to her about the project of rebuilding the original wall.

He also said that Aaron was going to keep an eye outfor the safehold.

"However regular stone just isn't going to cut it," Laurence continued." So Katelyn well... she has a wonderful plan and I believe she should be the one to tell it to you."

Aphmau looked over at Katelyn and went up to her. Katelyn saw her and spoke about how her plan was insane, but she gained interest when it came to the children's safety.
