Pan and K.O. didn't care about the looks they were receiving in the burger shop we chose to eat in. They found my situation too funny to mind them.

"Am I missing the joke? It's not funny!" Way's face was red in embarrassment.

He didn't appreciate it when his closest friends, Pan and K.O. were laughing their asses off after telling them something he would rather bury the ground and forget for the rest of his life. He needed someone's comfort and he was stupid to think that his friends would be that someone.

Seeing them laughing at his own expense took an immense amount of convincing on his part to not kill his friends so that he could wipe those grins on their faces. He was itching to wrap his hands around their necks just so they would stop making those annoying sounds. It was becoming a reminder why he shouldn't tell such secrets to people who thinks it's funny.

As much as he love the two fools, they were grating on his nerves. There was nothing funny about it about losing one's virginity two days ago. Call him traditional or old school but he had believed his first time should be important.

"Sorry dude but it's too funny." Tear were leaking from their eyes as K.O. tried to apologize sincerely though he was failing miserably.

Pan looked a little more remorseful than their other friend but still Way narrowed his eyes, still hurt from their reaction. "Think about it. What are the odds of you getting your cherry popped? And to lose it from a guy?" Pan slightly smiled, unable to stop it as he recalled Way's story.

"I would have paid good money to see who it was. I bet he's taller than you.  You wouldn't bend to anyone shorter than and that's rare." K.O., the more playful one out of the two teased some more, darkening Way's mood.

He didn't reply to that one knowing that if he did, he'll be admitting that he got interested. Way doesn't understand why the drunk version of him did what he did but he approved of that version's taste.

It was a bit of a shame for the whole population though, that such a person to be mentally ill. The man was stunning, being able to have him in awe was a feat itself. Way had never met anyone so beautiful. Too bad the man believed himself to be a  vampire. A self-proclaimed vampire was definitely a head case. There was no such as vampires. This wasn't some fictional novel.

Except for the bite on his neck he managed to cover with a bandage  and the mortifying memory of experiencing pleasure with that man, his memory of that night was still patchy at best.

It did surprise him when he was able to leave without being followed. He expected the guy he slept with demand something. He should be relieved but somehow it only made him uneasy.

"You guys suck." He sighed, giving up on his friends.

"There's nothing wrong with liking a guy. Believe me. It's actually easier with the same equipment and all." Pan replied, totally comfortable about the subject which got Way curious.

"Am I missing something here? Because you don't have a love life. You don't go out of campus except when it's about school or with us."
Way was surprised to hear that coming from Pan. He hasn't seen the guy date anyone through the course of their friendship.

There was something odd when his two friends eyed each other before K.O. rolled his eyes and answered Way.

"Uhh... yeah? We've been together for almost half a year!" K.O. comfortably rested his arm on Pan and pulled the male closer to him. He was grinning from ear to ear while Pan kept his lips occupied with a drink.

"What?! How come I didn't notice? You didn't even tell me! I thought you guys are my best friends." Way's issues became insignificant, blown away at this revelation.

"We weren't sure how you would react." Pan confessed guiltily. "You don't seem to have any complaints with gay relationships but we kind of thought you were still suffering from an identity crisis."

"I'm not gay!" He shouted loudly, catching a few stink eye from the other patrons of the shop.

"Way... sorry to burst your bubble but we think you are or sort of. If you aren't, you would be the only straight guy who checks out other guys asses." K.O. flicked a french fry in direction.

"I like girls. It's impossible for me to like guys" Way vehemently insisted, his hands slamming on the table as he did. "no offense. I just don't see myself that way." He added in the end.

The couple rolled their eyes.

"Fine. You're attracted to both sexes. It's nothing to be ashamed of." Pan concluded for Way.

"Whatever." In which Way gave up trying to convince his friends that he will never fall for a guy.

May he be struck by lightning if it happens again. Way would never be attracted to a man and that is final.
