It was late in the morning when I woke up. I went up deck to find everyone sitting on the deck. There was problems with the boat last night so we were stuck in the same position for the entire day. Travis was working on the water intake as well as the filtration system so that we could be back on track. I found Alicia sitting on the edge of the boat with a pair of binoculars.

"Hey what do you see?" I asked her as I nudged her shoulder. She was quiet for a moment before she spoke up while handing me the binoculars.

"You see on the coast? It looks like a plane crash or something. Everyone's luggage is everywhere. I was thinking maybe we could go over there a stock up on supplies? Food, medications, clothing." She said as I looked through the binoculars and over to the small island.

"If you're going I'm coming too." I said instantly not wanting to miss my chance on finding some shampoo and conditioner.

"I need to convince mum first." Alicia said as Maddie was on her way over to us.

She stopped in front of the pair of us and already had a skeptical look in her face. Chris and Nick weren't too far away from us and I knew that if Alicia and I were to go, they too will follow.

"What are you kids up to?" Maddie asked as she watched what what we were doing.

"Mum? Do you see the plane crash over there?" Alicia said as she handed her mother the binoculars.

"I do? Why are you asking?" Maddie said as she looked through the lens.

"I was thinking that maybe it'd be a good idea to go over there and see if we can find any supplies." Alicia asked as she looked at her mother with hopeful eyes.

"Absolutely not." Maddie said as she gave Alicia the binoculars back. Alicia looked at me with a tired expression before she continued to argue.

"Mum. We need supplies. Clothing, medication all that kind of stuff. This is our best chance!" Alicia said as I sat beside her on the edge of the boat.

"Alicia's right. We do need supplies. There's a good chance that all that luggage up there will have what we need. We won't get another opportunity like this." Nick said as he backed Alicia up. Alicia looked at Maddie with pleading eyes.

"I can take the kids." Daniel said as he butted into the conversation. Maddie looked at him with a face that said 'seriously?' As Alicia looked at me knowing she'd won this argument.

"Alright. But you stay with him. Don't wander off and stay safe." Maddie said as she looked at all four of us and made sure we heard everything she'd said. Everyone nodded as Chris and Nick began pulling the mini boat onto the deck.

"Alright. Everyone in?" Daniel asked as everyone crammed themselves into the small boat.

"Alicia. Lilly. Can I ask you a favour? If either of you find, y'know, personal sanitary items, that'd be great. " Ofelia said as she handed a small list to Alicia.

"I getcha" I said as I laughed at her awkward choice of words. Nick looked at us weirdly like he didn't understand what she was asking.

Daniel started the boat and before we knew it we were taking off towards the beach in front of us. The boat skimmed the water at a fast pace as we all held on tight during the bumpy ride.

"Oh god I don't feel well" I said as I felt the contents of my stomach ready to spill.

"Don't puke in the boat. We all have to sit in it." Daniel Salazar said with a small smile on his face as we were just about halfway to the shore. I laughed at what he'd said before a small frown made its way onto my face.
