Bean's POV.
All the fourth year Gryffindors sat down in the DADA classroom. Ron and Harry were avoiding each other completetly. Hermione and I tried to presude them to get along, but no. They had to be big babies and ignore each other. I sat next to Ron in the front of the classroom,Hermione sat with Harry in the back. "You two NEED to stop arguing." I hissed as we sat down. He rolled his eyes. I pulled out my book and slammed it on the desk. "Remember those points dad threatend to take from you after you used the Floo?" I asked angrily. "Yeah. So?" He asked. "He can still take them." I snapped. At that moment the door opened, and professer Moody walked in. His blue eye was rolling around in it's socket, picking us out one by one. "Professer Alastor Moody." He said, scribbilng his name on the black board. "I know everyone of you in this classroom, and I can pick you out. Belania Potter!" He shouted. I gulped. "It's Snape, sir." I said. "Eh? Really? Old Severus should've mentioned that." He muttered. I narrowed my eyebrows. Old twit. My name isn't Potter. It's ALWAYS been Snape. 'Mentioned that'. Stupid. "I am here today to teach you the Unforgivable curses. The Ministry says I shouldn't but I say diffrent!" Moody shouted, slamming his fist on Dean and Seamus's desk. They both jumped. Moody didn't notice. Or,maybe he did. I don't know. "You need to know what you're up against! You need to be able to protect yourselves!" He shouted. "Who can name one of them?" He asked. Ron shakily raised his hand. "Weasley?" Moody barked. "Uh..the Imperius curse?" Ron asked shakily.
"Ah,yes. Your father would know all about that, now, wouldn't he?" Moody said, his eye staring at the celing. He then clunked back to his desk, where he had a jar. Opening it,he pulled out a rather large spider. I could hear Ron draw in his breath. Moody pointed his wand at it. "Imperio." He muttered. The spider jumped from Moody's hand to my desk. It landed right on Ron's face. He screamed and swatted at it. We were all laughing. The spider then glided onto Parvati Patil's silky head. She stopped laughing instantly and started shaking. "Think it's so funny?" Moody grunted. "What if I made it do this?" He flicked his wand again. The spider flew out an open window, and probably killing itself. We all looked at our teacher. "The Imperius curse." He said, solemnly. "Next one?" He asked. I raised my hand. "Miss. Snape?" Moody said. "The cruciatus curse." I said gravley. "Correct." He said. He took another spider out of a jar. "Crucio." He murmured. The spider started squrming and shaking. I was shocked. Did he seriously just use the cruciatus curse? On a spider? God,I hate this guy. I started to hear whimpering from behind me. I turned around. Neville was shaking and breathing heavily. "Stop it! It's bothering him!" I cried. I didn't care if he didn't know who I was talkin' about. Moody looked at me,and stopped the curse. He walked over to me,clunking his wooden leg. "Do you know the last curse,Miss. Snape?" He asked, eyebrow raised. "The Avada Kedavra." I told him. He nodded, taking his wand. The spider in his hand was not acting normal. "Avada Kedavra." He shot out. The spider died instantly. "Only one person ever survived this curse." Moody muttered. He raised his eyes and looked directly at Harry. "You." He said.
Class had finished a few minutes ago. I had left my friends and was rushing down the stairs to my dad's office. I swung the door open. He was sittin' in his desk chair, mesuring out a potion. He whipped his head around at me. "Belania Summer! What are you doing here?" He asked. I pushed my hair behind my ear. "Dad? Did an unforgivable curse kill my mother?" I asked quietly. His black eyes bore into mine. "Get out." He demanded. "But-" "Get out!" He shouted. I ran for the door. He slammed it shut behind me. As I was running,I could hear him sobbing.
