Cedric and I have been on plenty of dates during the past couple of months. As the Slytherin girls would say,we are 'deeply in love.' Which is quite true, actually. Anyways,it was time for the third task. And I had to admit,I was afraid. For Cedric, and Harry. I don't want them to die! And I don't want either of them to lose. But I have no idea how this is gonna work. We'll just have to see.
"You'll do fine." I said, fixing his jacket collar. He took a deep breath. "Probably." He said. "Wand?" I asked. He held it up. I nodded approvingly, and gave him a hug. "I love you,Bean." He said. "I love you too,Cedric." I said. I kissed him. "I'll see you afterwards." I said. He nodded, trying to smile. I left the tent quickly, and I saw Harry outside on a bench. I sat next to him. "Don't worry." I reassured him. He shrugged. "I'm not." He said. I raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, right. Don't freak out. Ron,'Mione, and I will be rooting for you." I said. "What about Cedric?" Harry asked, adjusting his glasses. "What about him?" "He's your boyfriend. Aren't you rooting for him?" "I'm rooting for both of you. I love you,big brother. See ya later." I said. "Bye,Bean." He replied. I ran to the stands to find Ron and Hermione. They were sitting in the fifth row, wearing gold and red. Ron even went far enough to paint his face the Gryffindor colors. I could tell Hermione did not approve. "Where were you?" Ron asked. "Prep talks." I said. "Oh." "Shush! It's starting!" Hermione hissed. The four champions,Dumbledore, and Mr. Crouch walked onto the field. They explained the rules, the concept, and all that. "Begin!" Mr. Crouch shouted. Harry and Cedric both ran into the maze, later followed by Krum and Fleur. The Third task had begun.
Hours ticked by slowly. There was nothing to see. Everything was happening inside the maze, beyond our seeing range. Fleur was taken out, along with Krum, but that was basiclly it. I said nothing, except from the random groan in pain from Hermione pulling my hair in her attemps to braid it. Eventually, she gave up. "Well, this is exciting." Said Ron sarcasticly. I drummed my fingers on the seat in front of me. Half from anxiety, half from boredom. Hermione sighed. "I hope DO hope Harry is alright. Of course,I hope Cedric is,too." She added quickly, looking at me nervously. I would've said something sarcastic, but I couldn't think of anything clever enough right now. All of a sudden,Harry and Cedric appeared out of nowhere on the field,Harry covered in blood, clutching the Triwizard cup,and Cedric, face down in the grass. And there was instantly tons of comotion. I stood up and tried to see what was going on. Dumbledore and Mr. Crouch were all over the two boys. And then, there were the words I thought I'd never hear. "Oh my God. Diggory's dead!" Mr. Crouch shouted. I fell backwards in my chair. Cedric is dead. No. It can't be. "Oh no........Bean......" Hermione gasped. She tried to hug me,but I pushed her away. "No! He can't!" I screamed. I,along with millions of others, ran onto the field. I felt my tears come down in numbers I didn't know existed. I then caught Harry's eye. He had just finished telling something to Dumbledore. He crawled over to me,to weak to stand. He hugged me. "Bean....I'm so sorry." He muttered. I felt his blood staining my shirt. I sobbed uncontrolably into his shoulder. "This has to be a nightmare....." I sobbed. I let go of him and couldn't take it all in. Cedric's parents.....I couldn't watch. "My son! My boy!" Mr. Diggory cried. Mrs. Diggory sobbed into her husband's quivering shoulder. I grasped Cedric's cold hand. His beautiful brown eyes, which I had loved so much were cold, empty, gone. People started to stare. Not at the Diggory's,but me. A fourteen year old ginger witch, crying her eyes out at the body of a dead teenage wizard, who was so much older then her. "What about us...what about forever and always..." I whispered. I looked up,and among all the grieving people, caught the eye of Snape. He looked upon me disapprovingly. I hated him. He lied to me. I hate everything. Cedric was gone. My brother was in shock. And I hate Severus Snape.

FanfictionYou poor muggles were lied to. Rowling lied about the whole thing. She was trying to make our story seem less complicated, I guess. I actually would've been fine with that, if she hadn't left me out of her books completely. Now, I'm going to tell yo...
