Ron's POV.
The four of us were all sitting in the Gryffindor common room. Hermione was reading her dozen books,Bean and Harry were acting really weird, and I was dreading the next hour to come. "But I don't wanna dance with a girl!" I whined. Hermione sighed and slammed her book shut. "Honestly,Ronald. It's traditional. None of us want to do it." She said, irritated. Bean shrugged, her red curls twirled around her fingers. "I don't know. It sounds fun." She said dreamily. "What?" Harry burst out. "Why are you acting so protective of me?" She huffed. He sighed. "Because you're younger then me." He explained,as though it was the most obvious thing in the world. Hermione looked at the clock. "We should get going." She said, putting her books in her bag. "But 'Mione! We've got 45 minutes!" I exclaimed. She looked at me. "If you want a chance at ANY girl,Ronald, you need to learn to dance." She said in a bossy tone,of course. I sighed and stood up. "Fine. But only because I don't wanna end up with Eloise Midgen,or whatever her last name is." I groaned. "She's just fine,Ron. Her acne looks alot better." Bean said. "Right." I said. "Come on,you three. Let's go." Harry said. We followed him out of the Gryffindor common room.
"Okay, students! Today,we are going to learn to dance. The annual Yule ball," Professer McGonagall was saying, "is,of course,a ball. A male will ask a female to the dance. Not the other way around." She said, like that was such a big deal. "Now! I would like a volunteer to help me. Ah! Yes. Mr. Weasley, would you come up here, please?" She asked, suddenly looking at me. I felt my face turn red. "I..uh.." I stuttered. "Hurry up,please." McGonagall said irritably. I stood up akwardly. "In every female, there is a beautiful dove, ready to fly,and in every male,a lion, ready to pounce!" She exclaimed, grabbing my hand and attaching it to her hip. A lion. Right. Bean snickered at me from across the room. I stuck my tounge out at her. Professer stared at me,her eyebrow raised. "Sorry,ma'am." I muttered. "Argus, the music!" She asked loudly. Filch was in the back of the room, holding his cat,Mrs. Norris, while he was fidiling with a muggle music player thing. He turned a knob and music blared from it. "Okay,Weasley. Step back, forward, that's right." She instructed. I was waltzing with my head of house. This wasn't gonna be forgotten easily. "Everybody up!" McGonagall shouted. All the girls got up,squealing, looking for a certin boy to dance with. The guys? I think they probably wanted to die.
Bean's POV.
I was skipping through the halls, excited. Dozens of thoughts were zipping through my head. Maybe Cedric would ask me to the ball? That would be fun. What would I wear? Maybe I could get something it Hogsmeade. Yeah, that's what I'll do. Maybe tomorow. Date or not,I'm goin' to that ball. I then crashed into someone. No suprise,of course. I looked up. It was Cedric Diggory.
"Um,hi,Cedric." I said akwardly. "Hi,Bean." He replied. "So...what are you up to?" I asked. His pale face suddenly turned pink. "I...uh..wanted to ask you, would you go to the ball with me?" He asked anxiously. I blinked. "Are you pulling my leg?" I asked suspiciously. He laughed nervously. "No." He said. "Then sure!" I exclaimed. He grinned, still pink. "Okay, that's settled then." He said. "See you later." I said, and we both left to dinner.
I sat down next to Hermione. "Were where you?" She asked. "Well, you won't believe this, but I'm settled for that ball." I said. Harry dropped his fork loudly. "With who?" He demanded. I looked at my dirty nails, trying to be cool about it. "Cedric." I replied simply. Ron choked. I whacked him on the back. "Better?" I asked. "I don't know how we're friends." He muttered. I smiled. "Me neither." "Diggory?" Harry pressed on. I rolled my eyes. "Honestly,Harry. Do we know any other 'Cedric's'?" I said. "He.Is.Seventeen." Harry muttered angrily. "So?" I asked. "He's,like, two years older then you!" He burst out. "So?" I asked again. His glasses were sliding down his nose, and he didn't pay any attention. "He's to old!" He said. "Just because you're older then me,dosn't mean you're my boss!" I exclaimed. "Calm down, you two." Hermione said. I grabbed my fork and started stuffing food in my mouth like an angry swine. "Careful what you eat, sis. You wanna look...good..for Mr. Perfect." Harry growled. I kicked him in the shin from under the table, dropped my fork, and left the Great Hall. No one noticed, because plenty of people were going in and out already. I was in complete tears when I got to my dormitory.
Harry's POV.
I rubbed my shin. Little sisters. "You could've been easier on her,Harry." Hermione said. "Yeah, mate. She looks deadly now." Ron said. "Shut up Ron." I muttered.

No strings attached. A Ron Weasley love story.
FanfictionYou poor muggles were lied to. Rowling lied about the whole thing. She was trying to make our story seem less complicated, I guess. I actually would've been fine with that, if she hadn't left me out of her books completely. Now, I'm going to tell yo...
