Inside the highest room in the tower, Shen was talking to his wolves and Simba.
"We move out tomorrow evening when the moon is full and the tide is high," said Shen.
The Wolf Boss replied, "We can do that, but I have received reports from my wolves of sightings of a panda. You did tell me to keep a lookout for any pandas in the city, as you said they could ruin all your plans."
"A panda in Gongmen City?" Shen questioned suspiciously. Simba thought he could detect excitement in Shen's voice as well.
"He is reported to be travelling with 5 companions a tiger, a snake, a crane, a monkey and a praying mantis," "It was near the Main gate," said the Wolf Boss.
"Find this panda and bring him and his companions to me," said Shen decisively.
"Yes sir," said the wolf Boss.
Once Simba and Shen were alone, Simba asked Shen, "What's so bad about this panda, sir?"
"There is a prophesy about me, which says that I will be defeated by a worrier of black and white."
"You think this panda is the worrier?" asked Simba.
"Any panda that comes near me could be the one, but as I made sure there were none living near the city, all panda's who get close to me now, are likely to be the one"
"What are you going to do when your wolves capture the panda?" asked Simba.
"I would kill him, but I have just thought of a better idea," said Shen.
"Which is?" Simba enquired somewhat frightened at this drawn out explanation.
"I am going to use one of your magic stones and one of your potions," replied Shen calmly.
"Which ones?" Simba prompted.
"The age stone and the hypnotising potion."
Simba knew that the age stone had the power to turn a person into a baby permanently, forever helpless. He could understand why Shen wanted to use the stone to ensure the panda was never a danger to him. Simba was not sure why Shen also needed the potion, but he thought it better not to ask.
Meanwhile, Po and his friends had found a place to stay in the city and had managed to get some sleep. They woke early next morning to begin their search for the truth about what had befallen Masters Ox and Croc. A passing sheep told them where the Masters of Kung Fu could be found. He told them they were being held in Gongmen's dungeons with their pupils. Po thanked the sheep for his information and they headed straight for the dungeons to see how well guarded they were and work out a rescue plan.
When they got there, they wanted to ask the guards some questions. Po didn't trust himself to ask the guards, because he was sure they would bring him to Shen at once. So, he sent Crane to ask them some questions, as they had seen 1 or two other cranes in the city. Crane managed to find out that their friends were being held in the largest dungeon and the only way in and out was as a guard.
So, they would need disguises to gain access to the dungeons. They left the dungeons to find a bar or restaurant where wolf soldiers might be, so they could quietly knock out 2 of them, so that Po and Tigress could wear uniforms and the others could pretend to be prisoners brought to the dungeons. They managed to get two uniforms quite easily and went quickly back to the dungeons. Telling the guards, they had captured 4 prisoners, they were allowed into the dungeons and given the Master keys for the dungeons on the lowest level.
Po had told the guards, the prisoners were very important and needed to go into the cells on the lowest level. When they got to the lowest level, they began to call out quietly to Little Bear, Emily and Masters Ox and Croc. After 10 minutes of searching, they found them. Emily in 1 cell and the others nearby in another cell.
Po unlocked Emily's cell and had just opened the other cell, when the sound of footsteps could be heard. The wolf guards were lumbering down the stairs to check that everything was ok as the strange-looking guards had taken a long time to put their prisoners in the cells. Po knew he had to make a plan, and quickly. As the prisoners could all help to fight, Po thought it would be best to defeat the guards as quietly as possible and leave the dungeons as quickly as they could.
Po backed into the passageway to allow the the wolves to come deeper into the dungeon, so the sound of fighting would not reach the other guards. He backed the others into the dungeons as far as they would go. The wolf guards edged warily down the dark corridor, calling out to Po and his pretend guards. Po stayed silent until he could see their eyes shining in the dim light.
Then, all the friends charged at once. The wolf guards were completely surprised and were all unconscious in the space of five minutes, with very little fuss and noise. Po marched his prisoners up to the exit door. There was only one guard there now.
"Prisoners for transfer," Po called as he marched past.
"I wasn't informed of any prisoner transfer,"said the wolf guard suspiciously.
Master Croc simply knocked him out on his way past before he could ask any more awkward questions. They breathed a collective sigh of relief when they were outside the walls of the Tower. They paused to decide what to do next. While they were discussing it, the Wolf Boss came back to the Tower and recognised the prisoners and that they were with a panda.
As he had a large number of wolf soldiers with him, he ordered them to recapture the prisoners and take the others into custody. They surrounded Po and his friends before they realised what was happening.
"Ring around the Rosie, a pocket full of captives," the Wolf Boss growled out loudly and tunelessly.
Po and his companions tried to fight their way out, but their were too many wolves and they had no space to fight properly so they were all captured. The wolves chained them up and took the Masters back to the dungeons and the others to Shen.
