Chapter 2 new school

Aphmau's POV

UGH! Morning already. I took 5 minutes to wake up until I knew I had to get out of my warm cozy bed. After I got out of my bed I trudged over to my bathroom and took a shower. I washed with my favourite cupcake body wash and I shampooed and conditioned my hair. When I got out I dried myself off and brushed my teeth. I decided that I would try and make an effort today as it is a new school and everyone will be judging me. I finally decided to wear my purple galaxy skirt, a plain black top and purple high tops. I then brushed and dried my hair, I left my hair down and put on mascara, winged eyeliner and some of my vanilla Chapstick.

I walked down the stairs and was greeted by the smell of pancakes and waffles. I ran to the kitchen to find my brother I jumped onto his back and said " Ash when will they be finished cause I need to get to school."

"Don't worry Aph they'll be finished in a minute just get your stuff ready." Ash Answered.

"Okay, call me when their ready." I shouted as I was halfway up the stairs. When I got to my room I picked up my purple backpack Sky brought me before I left I also put my pencil case Jin got me and a goat rubber from barney. Oh and I nearly forgot the binder which said 'Rossome' I got that from Ross. I picked my bag up grabbed my phone and earbuds and went down the stairs once again. I walked into the kitchen table to find my waffles and pancakes I got the fruit and whipped cream out of the fridge and ate my breakfast.

"Ash can you drive me to school please." I asked.

"Yeah sure Aph." He replied grabbing his car keys and slipping on his white converse.

*time skip to when Aphmau gets to school*

I waked to the pastoral office and knocked on the door I heard a soft come in, I opened the door and walked in.

"You must be Aphmau I'm Miss Coackly here is your schedule and the person to show you around should be here any second." As soon as she said that a girl with fiery red and orange hair burst though the doors she had black leggings, a red tank top, a cream cardigan, a long circle necklace with a circle inside it and red converse.

"Hi I'm Cadenza nice to meet you I'll be showing you around and stuff." She said she was still out of breath probably because she ran here.

"Well hello my name is Aphmau nice to meet you too." I smiled at her.

"Okay Aphmau lets get you to form." She said smiling warmly.

I wonder what form is? Cadenza must have realised what I was thinking.

"Oh you must not know what form is then cause the expression on your face says so. So basically form is like a home room." She said.

Oh I get it now they must call it different names then cause this is a different school, I walked out with Cadenza who was asking me questions like what's my favourite food and colour that kind of thing.

"So Aphm-"

I cut her off by saying "Oh and sorry to interrupt but my friends call me Aph, just so you know." I laughed.

"So Aph as I was saying what school did you go to before coming here?"

"Um well I went to a place called sacred heart." I said the last bit very quietly. One of the reasons I left was because my dad a was a policeman and my mum was a teacher at the school and there was a shooting. Both my parents died my dad protecting my mum. They both died. Leaving me and Ash alone. I could feel tears threaten to fall down my face no I promised myself that I would be strong no more crying I had done that for the past 4 months it's time to try and move on but I will always have them in my heart.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry Aph I didn't know I'm sorry for bringing it up." Cadenza said I could tell she felt sorry for me.

"Nah, it's all right Cadenza you didn't know I need to start getting over it we should probably get to form." I said trying to give her a smile but failed miserably I laughed at my attempt Cadenza  joined in and this time I was smiling properly. We walked up two flights of stairs to get to form.

"Cadenza do we actually have to go up all these stairs everyday?" I asked I could not be asked to go up this amount of stairs this early in the morning.

"Sadly, yes we do it makes me dread school even more than I already do." She said giggling and I joined her as we walked into our form as soon as we did the bell rang.

Loads of heads turned our way, I started to feel nervous and bit my lip some of the boys whistled and Cadenza glared at them and if a glare could kill the boys would be dead already. Cadenza lead me to the back of the class, as we made our way there. In saw a certain blonde haired boy who I recognised he looked at me and I looked at him and he said "Aphmau?"

"The one and only, hey Garroth." I said smirking and I went to the back to sit next to Cadenza. Then the teacher came in she smiled at everyone she looked like she was in her late twenties and she seemed to know about fashion and I noticed Cadenza give her a thumbs up.

"Hello everyone today we have a new student her name is Aphmau." She said "hello Aphmau I'm Miss Dunn."

Again heads turned my way I smiled at them all and they then turned their heads to the front and miss assigned everyone a task she went to her desk and picked up a folder. She then came our way and said to me "hi Aphmau okay I have got all the stuff you need to start here at Phoenix drop high."

"Thanks miss" I smiled and she smiled back she then started to talk to Cadenza about fashion.

While they were talking I daydreamed about what school was like until the bell rung for first period I had English first with Cadenza I put the stuff in my bag and we walked to English I was really starting to like Cadenza she is the first friend who is a girl I have had in a long time. I am so exited for today I think I'm going to make a load of great new friends.
