Chapter 14 the wedding

Aphmaus POV

Today is the day. The day I get married to fenir. I'm dreading it. I mean he's nice and all but I don't love him and we are still pretty young well I'm sixteen he like what? Twenty. I dunno but I did enjoy picking out the wedding dress if cadenza was here she would be squealing and stuff saying that the dress was beautiful. But she isn't here I'm alone and I don't think I'm ever going to see my friends or my brother again. Stop it Aphmau! You are going to get out end of story!

I was in my room reading an old Harry Potter book, I haven't read one in ages. I had got through half of the book when one of the maids knocked on the door.

"Come in." I said softly.

"Um miss we need to get you ready for the wedding." She said nervously she was literally shaking in fear. Poor thing.

"Okay. And please call me Aphmau you really don't need to be so formal or nervous around me I'm not going to kill you." I said smiling.

She smiled back and nodded beckoning me to me to come with her she walked out the door with me trailing behind like a lost puppy I had no idea where we were going it was actually quite far away from my room.
Once we got to the dressing room the maid who I now knew her name which is Amelie. We got out the dress which I had picked earlier (dress up top🔝) then Amelie got me to sit at the dressing table so she could do my hair and makeup. She started to blend a light sparkly eyeshadow on my eyelids. (Eyeshadow up top but imagine her eyes brown instead of blue🔝). She then started to put my long black hair in twists and plaits and a bun (hairstyle up top🔝) and with the finishing touch she put a beautiful diamond jewelled tiara. (Tiara up top🔝).
When Amelie had finished she left me alone so I could gather my thoughts.
I am so nervous I just really don't want to marry Fenir I mean he's nice and all like I said earlier but I hardly know him hopefully my plan works. But what if it doesn't I'll be stuck here forever. I felt my eyes start to well up with tears and I just fell to the floor crying.
Guards POV
I was standing guard outside the new Queens room. When I heard her crying
and saying "why me? I never asked for this."
I feel really bad she keeps breaking down she was definitely forced. I've been planning on leaving and helping the other King. I think I will contact them now.
After I had contacted the King he agreed to help me bust her out tonight at the wedding  tonight I hope this works. So we can help her and her friend Fae out.
Aphmaus POV
I think one of the guards heard me crying because Amelie came rushing through the doors in no time with a flannel and a plain metal steel bowl.
"Hey Aphmau what's wrong?" She said in a soothing soft tone and to be honest it was really calming.
"It's just I really don't want to get married to Fenir." I sniffled.
She got me cleaned up and did my eye makeup again but doing more of a thick eyeliner and water proof mascara just in case I break down again. I'm so nervous it's unreal I'm clenching fistfuls of the lovely soft and Lacey fabric of the dress to help me relieve my stress but it's not working.
*time skip to the wedding*
I'm standing outside the doors of the beautiful old ornate church with gold doors like everything else in this place. I grip the roses tightly before nodding at the door men who look at me with pity in their eyes. They open the doors and I see hundreds of eyes all staring at me and there are hundreds of cameras watching my every move waiting for a mistake. It was absolutely nerve racking. I focused on the notice of my heels on the velvet red carpet, well not that it made much noise but you know.

I had finally made it to Fenir who had his jet black hair slicked back and was in a James Bond tuxedo. The priest was saying all the marriage stuff. When all of a sudden a load of werewolves came crashing through the windows the ceiling the doors the walls! It was just crazy I took this as my chance to run. Fenir tried to stop me but got attacked by a light brown wolf twice his size. I ran and flicked off the heels I got down to the dungeons and there stood by the doors to Electra and Brianna where Amelie and Fae who stood looking at the ground nervously.
"Hello Aphmau. Fae has got the keys to Electra and Brianna's cell use it wisely." Ylva said pointing to Fae who had some old rusty keys in her hand I smiled and in return I handed her the crown and said "thank you."
"Oh and Aphmau before you go in their cell there is a secret passage way on the left wall. Good luck." Amelie said giving me a nod.
"Thank you both so much it has been a pleasure knowing you." I said before following Fae to unlock the doors to the cell.
"What f**k took you so long?" Electra said twisting her long blonde locks around her finger.
"I'm sorry it's just that-" I got cut off by Brianna who said "no time for explaining we need to get out of here."
"Agreed. There is no way in hell I am ever going back to Ace." Fae said.
She got out another two keys and passed one of them to me I walked over to Electra's cell and unlocked it Fae did the same to Brianna's cell. We then got to work on finding the secret passage out of here. I was searching on the left wall when I heard Fae yelp I turned around and she had found the secret passage way. I was making my way there when Electra stopped me.
"Hey Aphmau I just wanted to say thank you. Oh you have no shoes. I can fix that!" She said smiling this girl likes to swear but she didn't in that sentence. Heh first sentence she has ever said around me without a swear word. There was suddenly blur of light at my feet and I had these plain black pumps which were very comfy.
"Thanks Electra! But we better get going." I said.
She nodded and we ran after Fae and Brianna and the passage door closed after us.
We walked for ages down that small cramped passage way I was starting to feel claustrophobic. When we had finally got outside the kingdom we walked for another two hours and been attacked by a bear. That sure was bad luck. We all had scratches and cuts everywhere. It hurt quite a lot but I don't want to be a burden. I was starting to feel my eyes droop when I heard my friends. My friends!
"Help!" I shouted.
I heard them all run over to me.
"APHMAU!" They all shouted when they saw I smiled and said "that's me." Before I passed and let the darkness take over.
