Dreaming of a world where you could sleep all day.

No worries and peace all around.

Wishing that this fantasy could come true. Counting the days trapped in this reality. More like a prison where the warden keeps you in check "personally".

Watching the clock tick away counting everyone elses time but never it's own.

Looking back at the four walls around you.

Always there nice and simply white.

But today they feel closer to you than yesterday.

Have you grown?

Have they shrunk?

Warden assures you they're the same.

You aren't so sure but you stare on.

Clock ticks on.

Warden checks on.

Day by day walls simply white getting smaller.

Getting tighter they're pressing against you now.

Warden doesn't even come around anymore.

Where is warden you think.

Then all terror breaks in your mind as you no longer hear it.

Tick...

Tock...

Tick...

Tock...

...

...

...

You wait for clock to tick or tock but it never comes.

No one is around anymore and you realize your nice simply white shirt is gone.

Now it's a simply white straightjacket.

How nice it is.

It helps take away the thought of the simply white walls crushing your bones against themselves.

Simply white...

Simply white...

Tick...

Simply...

Tock...

White...

Tick...

Simply...

Tock...

Simply...

Simply...

Simply what?

There's no more white.

It's been so long since you've seen a different color apart from the simplicity of white.

This color flowing around you changing the simple white into a new color.

Then as a chuckle breaks the silence.

You remember.

The color staining the simple white.

The color that got you here in the first place.

Like roses blooming in a quiet garden.

No more is simply white.

No.

No.

That color is far from here now.

All that is now is...

Simply Red.
