Melanie's POV
"Boys, she has eleven days." My doctor said. He's been counting down the days.
I hear the door shut.
"Guys, can I have a little time alone with her?" Lou asks.
"Yeah. I'm next." Harry says.
Everyone leaves, I'm guessing, minus Lou. He grabs my hand and rubs it.
"Mel... I know you can hear me." Lou starts. "I love you so much. You're my best friend. I wish I had more time to spend with you."
As much as I want to nod, say its okay an hug him, I can't.
I try to open my eyes.
"They fluttered!" Lou yells. "Your eyes fluttered Mel. Are you trying?" He asks.
Lou spend the next few minutes singing until Harry says its his turn.
"Baby, I know you can do it." Harry starts. "I love you so much... I wish, oh how much I fucking wish, I could be in your place." I feel tears on my face.
I open my eyes, seeing bright lights.
Oh my God it worked!
"No.." I say, my voice deep and raspy from 6 months of no use.
"What? Did you speak? YOU SPOKE! MELANIE IS AWAKE! GET THE DOCTOR!!!" Harry screams.
He kisses me, and I can finally, FINALLY, kiss back.
"I love you so so so much." Harry says.
"I love you more, Hazza." I say.
"Good to see you awake, Melanie." Doctor Socorro says.
"Good to be a wake, doc." I smiled.
"We need to run some tests." Doctor Socorro said.
"Uughh, of course!" I said, causing Harry to laugh.
"MELANIE!!!!!!" Daphne, Louis, Zayn, Liam and Niall yelled.
"ZAYN! DAFF! NI! LEEYUM!" I yelled back. They all rushed over, hugging me except Lou.
"What about meh?" Louis asked.
"LOU BEAR!" I yelled at the blue eyed boy who'd walked over. I threw my weak arms around him.
"I've missed you soo soo soo much." Lou whispers.
"I missed you too, Lou." I smiled.
"Lets go get them test over." Dr. Socorro said.
I shakily stood up, being helped by the boys, and walked to doc. He helped me walk to a room where he did a bunch of tests.
Harry's POV
She's awake. She's alive. She's gonna make it.
"Harry." Lou said.
"Louboo! She's awake!" I scream, throwing my arms around him and hugging the life out of him.
"I know, Hazzabear." Lou said, hugging me back.
"I'm so happy." I cry into his shoulder.
"Why are you crying?" Lou says, wiping tears of his own.
"I'm so happy!" I laugh.
"Me too!" Louis says.
I am more than happy.
This is a twitter moment.

Niall's POV
Liam, Zayn, Daphne, Lou and I were in the cafeteria eating. Lou left to find Harry.
Melanie is still getting tests.
My phone buzzes, so I check it. It was a Twitter notification. I saw:

"Guys, it still hasn't completely kicked in." I laugh, putting my phone away.
"I know! It's crazy. She's actually awake." Liam says.
"She's going to make it!" Zayn laughs.
Daphne said, "My sister is actually going to live."
This is the first time she's smiled in months.
A real smile I mean.
The smile that actually shows that you're happy. A smile that crinkles the skin by your eyes. A smile that makes the ones around you smile.
