Well, here we went again to my hunting grounds...it was 8 in the morning, temperature was rather warm for it being April, but the wind began to blow lightly as well.  The leaves on the trees began to blow in a rather peculiar way, almost like an art; they blew past me as I walked further north to the grounds again.  It wasn't that far, maybe a mile or two away, just enough to where it isn't unimaginably long.  Along the way, I saw the usual animals that walked the same path: a few wolves, some bears, even these little things called "liminen" which I am not 'supposed to hunt or I will be fined' but damn do they look tasty sometimes.  Odd enough today, I found a few red wolves, ones that were told can control fire, but I never cared for them; they never made any good meal whatsoever.

About halfway in, I heard a few heavy footsteps along the path, it was a group of hunters I presumed.  However, I grew curious and wanted to see it for myself.  Luckily for me my usual attire proved to be good in hiding in: a black shirt, grey jacket, and dark jeans.  I knew it wasn't proper camouflage but I didn't care, as long as it worked.  I slowly hid myself in one of the many bushes near the path, myself completely hidden from the hunters.  As I looked, I saw some rather peculiar people, none of which even looked like hunters.  One was in a blue dragon mail and wielding a massive blue sword, another appeared to be a mage.  She was dressed in black and red, and her staff was the most unusual about her attire: white with a cross as the tip.  Lastly was a priest in white and blue carrying a book.  They were both loud and towering amongst the wildlife, and enough to scare off any wild monsters or game nearby.

The soldier, which I presumed to be the leader of the group, began to speak to the others.  "So, the reports said of a hunter deep in these woods were killing off several game here for years, but where could he possibly be?"  The mage walked closer, almost to arms length, "Well, he is a hunter.  He has to be hiding somewhere."  As quickly as she said it, she began looking towards my direction, almost as she knew of my arrival.  I quietly and quickly sneaked out just as she began checking the bush.  "Hmm...he is close.  I can sense him."

"Well, if he's close, we need to make sure he doesn't escape.  Everyone, stay close!"  They began searching the entire area, almost making sure no stone was left unturned.  I hid amongst the trees, hiding in some branches to make sure I couldn't be seen.  Was I this "hunter" they were mentioning, or was I mistaken?  Who knows, the forest was rather large and another hunter being here was plausible.  Regardless, I stayed silent, waiting for them to go away.  In only a few seconds of the search beginning, the priest suddenly screamed and I heard a massive yank from the ground, along with rustling.  I peeked out the tree and saw him trapped in a net.  Must have been there from last time.

The mage began to look behind her, and instead of questioning, she began to attack.  She blasted the tree I was in with what appeared to be fire.  I quickly ran out as the tree almost exploded in front of me.  "He's here!  Get him!"

I knew they were for me now, but I had no choice.  I grabbed my bow that was on my back along with one of my arrows.  I stood up and prepared to attack.  The fire from the tree almost turned the sky to crimson as if hell was about to break loose in the forest.  The mage and soldier appeared in front of me, as I readied to attack.  The soldier looks at me with apprehension then a minute later, he says "That's the Hunter!  Kill him already!"  Before they could do anything, I fired my arrow.  I hit the soldiers leg and tripped him up.  I had a few arrows to use, a splitting one, a trip one, even an explosion one.  As the soldier hit the ground, completely immobilized,  the mage began attacking with many beams of light, enough to blind a man in one hit.  As I tried to dodge, I fired my second arrow, and in midair, it split from one to nearly 10, all aimed at the mage.  She tried to block it, but as she did,  I fired at her hips, making sure I got a hit.

She fell to her knees, as I stepped closer.  Finally breaking my silence, I began to talk.  "Why are you here bothering me?"  The mage stood up, with her rod dead at me.  "We were ordered to kill you by the Master Clan.  They don't tolerate hunters such as you."  With a smirk and an expression of anger, I replied "So Zack is still calling the shots?  I wondered why he sent you..." she began to attack, but I grabbed the rod and pointed it in the air.  With the knife, I stabbed her side, making sure I didn't even try to kill her or the soldier.  "I'm sorry...but I can't let you do that..." I saw her eyes close, she was knocked out for a while.  The soldier still couldn't get up after the shot, I looked him in the eyes and said "I'll let the priest go as long as you never come back." I walked to the trapped man, and grabbing the knife, I saw him panic.  "Don't worry, just don't grab the net!" I cut the net in a circle near the bottom; he quickly fell down from his prison.  I pointed him to his friends and left to head back home.  Since Zack was out for me I had to go to Sherlek for the food again...
