One week of my withdrawals is spent in a hotel with Gerard fawning over me while I throw up and have a fever and get chills. He doesn't seem to notice the fact that I'm absolutely disgusting looking and extremely ill; he cuddles and kisses me and tells me I'm cute anyway.
The next week and a half is spent at Gerard's, with Bert glaring at me all the time and Gerard only fawning when Bert isn't around. I sleep on the couch and Bert sits on me a few times in the early morning. He claims that it's accidental but I'm really not so sure.
They argue a lot. Over me, the $300 thing Bert broke and can't pay for, over Bert's habit of getting angry and not showing up to work or leaving early.
The next and last two days of my withdrawals are spent with Gerard fawning over me because Bert isn't around.

"Hey, Frankie. Wake up," Gerard murmurs, attacking my face with little kisses.
I groan and swat him away. "What? Quit it, I'm up."
He grins. "Morning beautiful."
I can't help but smile. "Hey, you."
"Are you feeling better yet?" He questions eagerly.
I nod. "Yeah. I am feeling better." I know as soon as the words leave my lips that Gerard will definitely insist we do something and get all excited about it.
He practically squeals. "Yay! Get up right now, we're going out!"
I chuckle and let him kiss me. "Okay, okay. Relax. Gimme a sec."
He settles himself on my calves and beams at me. "Okay, times up."
I roll my eyes. "How do you get up so early and bounce all over the place every morning?"
He goes pink, shrugs. "Coffee?"
"No. You haven't had coffee yet, right?"
He shakes his head and climbs off of me, only to jump right back. "Nope. Are you ready to get up yet?"
I flail around until he gets off. "Maybe. Quit jumping on me."
"Fine. Do you want to know where we're going?"
I shrug. "It doesn't really matter. Whatever you've come up with this time won't beat how good you look, all excited about it."
He blushes some more and doesn't look at me. "No."
"Yeah. You're really beautiful."
He dives into the mass of blankets at my side, curling close to me. "Shut up."
I push him off the bed and get up, albeit slowly. "Okay. Enlighten me."
He grins. "The aquarium."
I fake scoff. "Are you for real?"
He nods and kisses me. "Hurry up. I want to get there in time for the penguin feeding."
