The sunlight peeked through his blue curtains as he was face down in his pillow. He snored loudly, his messy curls were resting on his face and the comforter was covering his body besides his naked shoulders. He was dead asleep to the world, having the best dream he could possibly have, which involved being awarded a nobel prize, that was until a certain brother barged in.

"Vic, get your ass up" his brother exclaimed, walking over to the curtain and tearing them open letting the sunlight blast on the small Mexican.

He groans and turned away so the sun couldn't hit his face, but his brother wasn't having it. The younger of the two stomped over and ripped the comforter of his older brother, reviling him in only very thin black briefs.

"It's time for work, Victor! Now get your ass up so you won't be late" his brother lectured "And if I come back and you are still in this bed, you are not going out with Danielle tonight" before softly walking out the room. The older brother groaned and shuffled to his back and stared at the ceiling. 

Vic Fuentes loves his job very much, but waking up at 5:30 in the morning everyday got very annoying. Vic works as a Marine Biologist at a rescue center but it was also for the people who were educated with Marine Life. His current assignment is to see if a pod of wild dolphins would allow a domesticated dolphin into their pod. So far there was no luck.

Vic stretched his arms and rolled out of bed to sit at the edge, whipping the saliva from the corner of his mouth. He rubbed the sleep from his eyes in a short attempt to wake up but realized if he wasn't going to take a shower he was never going to wake up properly so with another groan that escaped his lips, he arose from his bed and walked to his bathroom. He turned the nozzle to warm then stripped himself from his briefs, leaving him completely nude, he stepped in the tub and immediately dunked his head under the stream of water.

Vic thought about his life as he stood under the jet of water. He thought about how his family wasn't as fortunate as some other families, living in a one bedroom apartment and having to share the bed with his mother and brother, but then his mom met Dave who is really good to them still. They moved into Dave's nice 2 bedroom house which the boys didn't mind because at the time they were grateful for anything they got. At first the boys and Dave didn't see eye to eye until Vic found out what Dave did for a living which was Marine Biology. Dave is the real reason that Vic is so in love with the ocean and he'll always thank his step-dad for that. Mike on the other hand had to warm up his his new step-father a little longer, that was until Dave got Mike a brand new drum set for his birthday, which he still has now.

After Vic graduated high school with flying colors, he got accepted to UCSD and majored in Marine Biology and Oceanology for 4 years before Dave offered him a job at his rescue center in which Vic immediately accepted. At first, Vic a little disappointed when his first task was to explain the development of plankton to children, though the intent focus of multiple 10 year olds was quite satisfying. Eventually, Vic worked hard enough to afford a two bedroom house that was literally a block away from the beach. His little brother, Mike moved in with him and not even a week later Vic met the wonderful person he is proud to call his, Danielle.
