Chapter Eighteen
3 months later……
(Lexi’s POV)
“Hurry up Holly!” I shouted banging my hand on the horn. Bentley chuckled before gently pushing me back to my chair.
It was finally the holidays and we had decided to go on a little trip. Being the nice people that we are, we had invited Tyson, Holly and Josh. They all agreed except for Josh as he and Holly hand just recently broken up so it was really awkward.
Bentley and I were still going strong but I hadn’t told him I loved him yet. He also hadn’t told me but if he did then I think I would say it back. I was slowly falling for him. .
“I’m ready I’m ready,” Holly panted shutting the door behind her. We pulled out of the drive and turned onto the high way. I was bouncing with excitement because we were going back to my home town. The place that I had grown up, the place where all my friends were.
It was a six hour drive but soon we pulled up to the hotel. We had arranged for a room with four beds in. Holly and I placed are gear in our room before heading out to the lounge to meet the boys. They were both spread out across the couches, looking like they were about to fall asleep.
“Come on guys its only 3 o’clock, you can’t sleep yet!” I shouted trying to wake them up.
“Just give us a few hours and then we will all go out for dinner,” Bentley yawned before rolling over and falling asleep. I turned towards Holly.
“Do you want to go for a walk? I’ll give you a free tour,” I offered. She nodded excitedly. “Tyson go to sleep we will see you later,”
“Yep sure whatever,” he muttered closing his eyes. I rolled my eyes at both of them before leading Holly outside. We walked in silence down the streets, ever so often I would tell her something about the building we had just passed. It wasn’t until we were walking down an alley and we heard shouts coming from the end that she grabbed my arm.
“Lexi I think we should turn around and go the other way,” Her face paled as I kept walking down. Let’s just say I’m a little bit to curios. She reluctantly followed, gripping me tightly as the we spotted the men.
None of them saw or noticed us as they were to engrossed in the two men in front of them. The tallest out of the two men was holding the slightly smaller one by the scruff of the neck. I inched closer so I could hear what they were saying.
‘You know we aren’t aloud to do that, you idiot,” The man sneered raising his fist. I stood up from our hiding place and cleared my throat, drawing the attention of them all.
