"Oh my! Damien do you know what time it is?" Peachy asks looking at me then her watch then back at me.
"Yeah." I say groggily trying to drink my coffee.
"Hell is probably freezing over right now. It's seven in the morning and YOU are awake? I never thought I'd see the day you were out of bed before me." Peachy says dramatically.
"Neither did I, but now I have a roommate that wakes up at the crack of dawn 'to have ample time to put herself together for the day.' Her words, not mine." I say wishing I could jump into the mug of coffee I was holding in my hands. At least it's warm and I'd wake up in five seconds with the energy of...well not myself.
"Haha she's obviously such a good influence on you. Maybe I should always make sure you have a chirpy roommate."
"If you do I'll move out." I say sending her a glare.
"To where?" She asks in an amused tone as she makes herself a cup of tea, makes sure there's defrosted milk for anyone who wants cereal, and then she starts cutting fruits and packing breaks and waters.
I help her set the table for breakfast. For once I'm actually up early enough to help make and eat breakfast. After finishing my bowl of cereal and putting it in the sink, I start making my way to my room to get ready.
I'm supposed to be picked by the bus at eight and it was already seven forty three. I walk into my room to find a fully dressed Xena sitting on her bed on her phone.
"Hey, you should probably get some breakfast, before your brother eats it all. I hear boys eat a lot." I say half joking not really sure if it's true.
"Not hungry." She says in a flat tone as she taps away at her screen.
"Well, I tried." I say in a sing song voice as I go into our bathroom and close the door behind myself.

"Bye Peachy." I yell towards the dining area as I scramble to get my shoes on at the door.
"We should probably get going as well. Thank you for breakfast." I hear Xena say as she and Xavier get up and leisurely walked towards the door.
"You guys are going to have to hurry up if we want to catch the bus." I say halfway out of the door. They've been here a week and we've been taking the bus together. Everyone assumes that we just live in the same compound not house, which personally works for me.
Like I thought, Demusa was told about how Xavier and I sit near each other in two general classes and she's had her minions watching me this past week. Honestly, you'd think a 6th former would leave the boys in lower grades for the rest of us, but no. She has to have whoever she wants. It doesn't bother me though because I don't think I like anyone anyway.
"Why would we be going in the bus?" Xena asks smirking.
"How were you planning on getting to school?" I scoff.
"Riding." "Driving." They say at the same time.
"What?" I ask confused.
"Relax little one. We were told you haven't gotten your license yet." Xavier says in a patronizing tone of voice as he lifts up his Kenyan DL.
"How did you get one already?" I ask knowing it definitely does not take a week.
As we get to the ground floor Xena says, "I can give you a ride if you want." As she walks towards a shimmery pink Nissan March.
