Isabella's P.O.V:
The next day, I was still fuming. I got dressed in my new outfit: Black and red lacy skirt, long, clumpy lace up boots, black top and long black socks. I looked like my mood.
Ceren was dressed in a blue top, jeans and trainers. Evidently, she wasn't as pissed as I was.
I ate my cereal in silence, while Ceren chattered away. Not for the first time, I regretted letting her live with me. As she yapped on, I thought about the day I first met her. Blood and screaming and pain. I'm glad I saved her...
"Isabella? Isabella? Are you listening?", asked Ceren.
"Yes, Ceren. So what did the Lhama do next?", Isaid, reffering to the dream she had been talking about.
"Well...", she launched back into conversation.
God help me.
When we got to school, we saw Catherine and Leo sitting on a bench outside. We went to join them.
"Heya Catherine, Leo!", called Ceren.
"Hi guys!", she called back.
As we sat down, Danielle raced up to us. She was one of mine and Ceren's best friends. She was wearing a red shirt and black jeans.
"Guess what, guess what!", she squealed, skidding to a halt in front of us.
"What?", asked an amused Catherine.
"There's three new students!", she sang.
"...So?", asked Ceren.
Danielle sighed.
"It's two boys and one girl", she said,"The girl looks like an angel and the boys look like those vampires from twilight or something!" she said. She looked closely at me, Ceren and Catherine.
"You know", she said thoughtfully,"You guys all look like that. Like marble."
We all laughed, Catherine in a flattered way, me and Ceren slightly panicked.
Ceren was born pretty, but constant exposure to Demon Stones and Light Shifters had given her the marble looks of a Shifter or angel. Catherine was just the type of rare human to be born beautiful.
I pretended that I was the same as Ceren. I wondered if Ceren would still like me if she knew the truth... probably not.
I wrenched myself back into the here and now.
" What do they look like?", Leo piped up.
"Um... the girl has purple hair and purple eyes, one boy is big and has brown hair and the other boy has black hair and red eyes. The black haired one is really popular. Madison is all over him."
My heart skipped a beat. Me and Ceren stared at each other.
"So that's what Raven meant", she said.
I nodded, unable to speak. We had to warn Danielle and Hannah (who also went to our school). They both know and assist in the capture of Demon Stones.
"Danielle", I began, but the bell rang, drowning out my words.
Danielle gasped, looking at her watch.
"I've got to go, bye", she gabbled and raced off.
Me and Ceren started walking to Form, saying goodbye to Catherine and Leo.
"What do you think?", I asked Ceren.
"They might have come to posses people with Demon Stones", she said thoughtfully.
"Maybe", I said, uncertain. Something told me that wasn't the case.
When we opened the door to our classroom, we got the shock of our lives. My heart actually stuttered. Standing at the front of the classroom was Raven, Lola and Demitri. They all smiled when they saw us; Lola and Demitri angelically, Raven mischevious.
Stiffly, me and Ceren headed towards our seats and stopped in dismay. Evidently, there had been a seat change and there were only five seats to sit in. They were all at the back. Me and Ceren grappled briefly over who could sit by the wall. Ceren won, so I had to sit with Ceren on my left and Raven on my right.
"How strange", Raven said innocently,"that there'd be a seat change the very day we join the school. And what a coincidence that we'd all end up sitting next to you guys!", he smiled angelically.
"Yeah", I mumbled,"Big coincidence."
Coincidence my ass.
