Raven's P.O.V:
For a few seconds, Bella and Ceren stood there, frozen. Lady Eleanor took a step forwards towards them, still smiling.
Bella and Ceren bolted.
They both turned and sprinted down the hallway. Bella gripped Ceren's arm and steered her towards a mirror, clearly intending to jump into it and dissapear.
Lady Eleanor drew her arm back and threw a sliver of shadow energy at the mirror, which exploded into a thousand deadly shards.
Bella and Ceren changed direction smoothly, darting back into the kitchen and out of sight.
"This should be fun", Lady Eleanor said brightly, and followed them in.
The kitchen looked empty .There wasn't any sounds than the ones we were making.
"I did they escape?", Lola whispered.
"They're still here", Lady Eleanor said. "Just hiding."
"Are you going to hurt them?", I asked.
"Nah", she said, smiling. "Don't worry, I'm just playing."
She raised an arm, then swept it out in front of her. Immediately, all of the shadows and reflective surfaces aquired a strange, hard sheen.
"Now they can't leave", Lady Eleanor grinned.
I heard a low, muttered oath somewhere to my left.
"You're definately just playing?", I said.
"I won't hurt them or kill them. So, yes, I'm definately just playing."
"Then I think I'll join in too", I said.
Lady Eleanor grinned at me.
"I think I'll sit this one out", Lola said, sitting at the breakfast counter.
"Pussy", Lady Eleanor muttered.
I snorted, then threw a shard of dark energy at a small table in the living room. It exploded, revealing Ceren underneath.
"How did she fit under there?", Lady Eleanor said, baffled.
"You bastard!", Ceren roared at me. "And you claim to like Bella!"
I shrugged my shoulders. "Hey, this is just a game."
"Game my arse", Ceren muttered, then rummaged in her pocket. "Ah, no!", she wailed, dismayed.
I heard a sound behind me and turned to grab Bella before she smashed my head in with a heavy ornament.
"What's the matter?", she asked Ceren dully., from her position of being clamped under my arm.
"No weapons. You got any?"
Bella guestured, with some difficulty, to her lacy dress. "Do I look as though I have weapons on me?"
"Good point. I guess we'll have to fight dirty then."
"Yup."
"This is just a game", I said to Bella.
Bella looked up at me. "Only to you", she said, then placed her feet on the floor, grabbed me around my waist and flipped me over.
"Well, that was easy", she said.
I got up and made to fight, but Eleanor laid a restraining hand on my shoulder.
"If you wouldn't mind, Raven, I would like to fight them myself", she said. I shrugged and went to sit with Lola, who gave me a can of lemonade.
