Ceren's P.O.V:

When we got out of Form, me and Isabella headed to Maths, with Raven, Lola and Demitri in tow. When the teacher asked them who they'd like to show them around, they chose us.

Of course.

As we walked, I saw Madison giving us the evil eye. I smirked. At least something good had come out of this situation. I turned to Isabella, to tell her about Madison and saw that she'd already seen it. Her shoulders were shaking with suppressed laughter and the Shifters were staring at her in bemusement.

We were the first ones in the classroom and as we sat down (in the back) Isabella let rip. She just sat there, laughing hysterically. Her laughter proved to be contaigious and soon we were both howling with laughter.

I saw Raven explain why we were laughing tothe Shifters and even they cracked smiles.

"Did you see her face?", Isabella giggled.

"Yeah", I hooted,"She looked like she'd just eaten a lemon!"

We laughed for a while more and then grew more serious.

"So", said Isabella,"Why are you here?"

"Oh, that's nice", huffed Lola,"No 'Oh, how nice you're here' or anything, just 'Why are you here?'"

"Oh please", I said,"As if we'd ever be happy to see you."

If looks could kill, I'd be on a slab.

"Just tell us why you're here", sighed Isabella.

"Well..", Demitri began uncertainly,"We're here because our...agency want us to watch you and learn stuff about this world."

"Basically", said Raven,"We've been sent to keep an eye on you."

"Good luck with that", I muttered.

"So, where are you staying?", Isabella asked curiously.

"Do you really think we'd tell you that?", scoffed Lola.

"You know where we live."

"You know our reasons for coming here."

"What's the point of that? We can't use it!", I growled.

"Well, tough", smirked Lola.

"Lola, shut up", sighed Demitri.

"No!", snapped Lola.

As the two Shifters started bickering, I thought about the night after the Shifters had invited themselves into our home. Isabella had been crying out in her sleep again. When she woke up, she went downstairs and, after a while, come back up again.

I wonder what she was dreaming about.

Suddenly, the class came streaming through the door and we had to be quiet.

Isabella's P.O.V:

The teacher still hadn't come by the time the late bell went.

Madison came through the doors and strutted straight over to Lola and Raven.

"Heya, Raven", she flirted, perching on the edge of Lola's desk.

Dumb blonde.

"Uh, excuse me", Lola said, poking Madison in the back,"You're sitting on my Maths book."

Madison shifted a little, and then swept Lola's book off of the desk without a glance in her direction.

Lola glared at Madison and then went to retrieve her book. As soon as Lola had left her seat, Madison slipped into it, dumped her bag on the desk and turned so that she was facing Raven.

He watched all of this with an air of bemusement.

Lola came back.

"Excuse me", she said between gritted teeth,"You're sitting in my seat."

Madison ignored her and started flirting with Raven again. Lola started gathering Darkness in her hand .

Oooh shit. As much as I disliked Madison, I definately didn't want to see a hole carved through her head. Me and Ceren exchanged stricken looks.

"Hey, Madison!", I called.

Her head fwipped around, giving Ceren and Demitri time to calm Lola down.

"What?", she said.

"How many STDs do you have?", I asked.

She flushed a brilliant red and stalked over to me. SLAP!

I grinned."Did that make you feel better?", I asked innocently.

"Bitch", she said.

"Slut"

"Shut up, you little midget."

"Shut up you little tart."

She gave me a furious look and turned back to her seat, only to find Lola sitting in it and smirking. Thankfully for us, the teacher walked into the classroom.

Shooting me one last burning glare, she walked back to her seat in the middle of the class.

"So", said Raven,"do all humans really go around slapping people as the mood takes them?"

"Shut up", I growled,"You saw what Lola was about to do and yet you did not stop it. Why?"

"So, you think that leaping from my seat screaming 'Lola! Nooo!' would have been the best course of action?"

"Be serious!", I whisper-snapped.

He laughed.

"I am! Anyway, human lives mean nothing to me. Though I do admit that it can never hurt to have a few few female admirers."

He grinned at me. I turned away and heard him laugh again.

"I've seen you with humans",I said suddenly and he abruptly stopped laughing.

"I've seen you with humans and yet you say their lives mean nothing to you." I paused. "Is that really the truth?"

"Yes", he growled, suddenly angry.

"Then if you don't care about human lives at all, get the hell outta my school."
