Niall's POV
"You were angry," I nodded. "Just, we need to work on that."
"But it was cool," Fred nodded. "We got here in the family chopper."
"Alli, we found something you should see," Honey handed her a flash drive.
Alli plugged it into her computer and we watched the video. "Callaghan, he was there?" Alli asked.
"He was such a good man," Honey nodded. "What happened?"
"I don't know," Alli sighed. "The answers here somewhere."
I looked through the footage with Alli. "Wait, wait," Honey stopped Alli. "There he is."
Alli enlarged the frame. "With the pilot," Alli raised a brow. "Hang on." I enlarged the name on the pilot's helmet. "The pilot was Callaghan's daughter. Callaghan blames Cray."
"This is a revenge scenario," I replied.
"So what are we waiting for?" Alli asked.
"Hey, hey, hey," I stopped Alli. "Why don't we wait till tomorrow morning?" Alli sighed. "And you need to get some food into your system. I think we can all use some food right now."
"Alright," Alli nodded. "I think Aunt Cas is still up." We got out of our hero gear and went up to the kitchen. "Aunt Cas?"
"You're right in time for dinner," Aunt Cas replied.
"I brought a few friends," Alli sighed. "We're all a little hungry from working so hard on our project."
"So I've heard," Aunt Cas smiled as she set more plates. "How was that?"
"Hard work," Niall sighed. "It'll all pay off in the end."
"That's right," Aunt Cas nodded. We all sat down. "Okay, we don't eat until I have the pleasure to lecture Alli."
"She does this all the time," Alli sighed. "Okay, so what are you talking about this time?"
"Alli, you haven't been home very much and I'm getting worried. I always have attending your parent-teacher meetings. I attend the workshops and lecture programs when they had them. I discuss religious and secular education with you," Aunt Cas stated. I looked at Alli and it seemed she was letting it in one ear and out the other. "You learn first and foremost from your parents and then you came to me. I give you quality time and I encourage you to join extra-curricular activities. I have tried to build a strong relationship with you." Alli nodded. "So, Allison, what's going on with you?"
"Nothing," Alli replied. "I'm just trying to bond with my friends, you know? That's why I've been with them the past week." I looked at Alli and nodded. "We've just been hanging out and working on our projects."
"Alright," Aunt Cas. "I'm going to stop prying."
"But just so you know, Alli has really excelled in technology," I smiled. "She's come up with some really amazing gadgets and has helped us so much with our projects. I don't know how she does it but she's a whiz." Alli glared at me. "Don't get me wrong, but I think we should have Alli on our elite team for this year's tech competition."A/N: Sorry this chapter is so short. I wasn't sure how to end a small section of a chapter to keep the story going. But like I said, other chapters (I hope) will be longer. I promise. With Much Love, Lily
