Alli's POV
"I know exactly what I'm doing," I smiled. "Arms up." I scanned all five of them and let the computer do all the work. "Okay, the neurotransmitter must be in his mask. We get the mask, and he can't control the bots. Game over."
We all just started combining our ideas to help them come up with costumes. We even practiced with Fred's butler. My team looked amazing in their costumes. I even made Baymax a new costume. It was a tight fit but I got him in it. I finished Honey's first, Gogo's second, Baymax third, Fred's fourth, and Niall's fifth. We all gathered at Fred's place.
"Whoo!" Fred exclaimed.
"I love it," Honey nodded.
"Not bad," Gogo smiled.
"Anybody's suit riding up on them?" Niall asked.
"Hey guys," I smiled as I got my suit on. "Check this out. I'd like to introduce Baymax, 2.0." He was amazing. "I love this dude. And the technology, of course."
"He's glorious," Fred stated.
"Hello," Baymax held up his hand.
A butterfly flew past him and he walked after it. "Whoa, whoa, whoa," I stopped him. "Hold up. Focus. Show them what you got, buddy." Baymax looked at me. "The fist, show them the fist."
Baymax held out his fist. "Ba-la-la-la," Baymax stated.
"No," I groaned. "Not that. The thing. The other thing." Baymax held his fist out and his armor first his fist made a hole in the wall. "Yes."
"Rocket fist makes Freddy so happy," Fred jumped with joy.
The fist returned onto Baymax. "That's just one of his new upgrades," I nodded. "Baymax, wings."
Baymax had his wings out. "No way," Fred replied.
I climbed on Baymax's back and put my feet and hand on the magnets I had made into mine and his armor. "Thrusters," I smiled. Baymax was flying. "Yay!"
"I fail to see how flying makes me a better health care companion," Baymax looked at me.
"I fail to see how you fail to see that it's awesome," I nodded. "Full thrust!" Baymax fell on his belly and we full thrust straight on the ground. Baymax got us in the air. "Whoa. Steady, Baymax. Let's just take this slow." We were headed towards a cat balloon. "Thrust, thrust, thrust!" Baymax did. "Too much thrust. Too much thrust!" We started free falling. "No, no. Back on. Back on. On, on, on." Baymax turned his thrusters back on and we were back to flying. We landed on a water tower in the middle of the ocean. "Oh man. Maybe enough flying today. What do you say?"
"Your neurotransmitter levels are rising steadily," Baymax responded.
"Which means what?" I asked.
"The treatment is working," Baymax stated.
Baymax started leaning off the water tower. "Oh no," I nodded. "No, no, no, no, no." We started falling. "Ahhh! Baymax!" He turned on his thrusters. "Yes!" We were flying with no complications. "Woo!" I was happy, as high as a kite. It made me a bit sad that Zayn wasn't able to see this, but I was happy. "Yes!" We got back on top of the water tower, since the sun was setting. I got off of his back and sat down. Baymax sat next to me. "That was...It was-"
"Sick," Baymax finished for me. "It is just an expression."
I chuckled. "That's right," I nodded. "I'm never taking the bus again."
"Your emotional state has improved," Baymax looked at me. "I can deactivate if you say you are satisfied with your care."
"What? No, I don't want you to deactivate. We still have to find that guy. So, fire up that super sensor."
We both stood up. "I have found a match on that island," Baymax pointed.
"Let's go get the others," I nodded. We went back to Fred's place. Gogo and Honey got on Baymax's back with me. Fred and Niall held onto Baymax's arm. We started flying. "Here we go."
"Killer view," Gogo stated.
"Yeah, if I wasn't terrified of heights, I'll probably love this," Niall stated. "But I'm terrified of heights, so I don't love it."
"There," I pointed at the island. "Baymax, take us in."
"Awesome," Fred stated as we landed. "Our first landing as a team."
"Guys, come on," I nodded.
"Quarantine?" Niall asked. "You people know what quarantine means?"
"Quarantine, enforced isolation to prevent contamination that could lead to disease, or in some cases death," Baymax stated.
"That's a skull face on this one," Niall stated. "A skull face!"
"Be ready," I whispered. "He could be anywhere."
We heard a noise behind us. I jumped behind Baymax's leg as the rest of my team fought like crazy. We stopped after a few seconds. The smoke cleared and it was a bird. "That is a bird."
"At least we know our gear works," Honey stated.
"Let's go," I sighed. We got to a door. "Niall." He cut a hole so we can get through the door. "Okay."
We started walking and Fred started singing. "Six intrepid friends led by Fred, their leader. Fred, their leader," Fred sang. "Fred's angels. Fred's angels. Harnessing the power of the sun with the ancient amulet they found in the attic. The amulet is green, it's probably an emerald."
"Fred, I will laser hand you in the face if you don't shut up," Niall nodded.
"Guys," I whispered. "Shhh." We kept walking. "Any sign of him, Baymax?"
"This structure is interfering with my sensor," Baymax stated.
"Perfect," Niall sighed.
"Uh, guys," Honey stopped us. "You might want to see this." We walked over to the door she was at. We walked inside. "What do you think it is?"
"I'm not sure," I replied. I pointed at the symbol. "But look."
"Alli," Honey looked around. We walked into the control room. I walked inside. I played a video. "Cray." We watched. "What is this?"
"I don't know," I sighed as we kept watching. "At least we know what the symbol means: Silent Sparrow." I nodded. "The government shut down Cray's experiment."
"And he's using your microbots to steal his machine back," Honey replied.
"Cray's the guy in the mask," I stated.
"Oh no," Baymax stated.
A wall came hurdling towards up. Baymax kept the wall from smashing us. "Baymax, get out of here," I nodded. Baymax smashed the wall into pieces and the guy was there. "Go for the transmitter. Behind his mask." The guy sent microbots after us. Baymax picked up a piece of the wall and blocked the hit but he flew back. "Baymax!" I ran up to him. The others attacked the guy. "Alright." Baymax got up. "Let's go, Baymax." We started flying. The guy was about to smash my friends. "Fly near him." Baymax did and he looked at us. He sent microbots at us and Baymax dodged it. Except for one hit, we collided with the guy. His mask came off and I grabbed it. "It's okay, Cray." The rest of the team joined me. The guy had his back towards me. He turned around and looked at me. "Professor Callaghan?" I nodded. "The explosion. You died."
"No, I had your microbots," Callaghan replied.
"But Zayn, shouldn't have died," I looked at him.
"Give me the mask, Allison," Callaghan held out his hand.
"He went in there to save you."
"That was his mistake!"
Baymax landed behind me and I was angry. "Baymax, destroy," I stated.
"My programming prevents from injuring a human being," Baymax replied.
"Not anymore," I nodded. I opened his access port and took out Zayn's chip. I threw it to the side. I pushed the chip back inside him. "His death is to be avenged." Baymax's eyes turned red. "Do it, Baymax. Destroy him."
Baymax went after Callaghan. The others tried to stop Baymax. "No," Gogo stated. "Stop Baymax."
It didn't work out. He kept going. My team slowed Baymax down but I lost the mask. "No, stop!" I stated. "He's getting away." Callaghan got away and Honey got the chip back into Baymax. "He's gone."
"My healthcare protocol had been violated," Baymax stated. He helped Fred up. "I regret any distress I may have caused."
"How could you do that?" I asked looking at my team. "I had him."
"What you just did, we never signed up for," Niall nodded.
"We said we'd catch the guy, that's it," Gogo looked at me.
"I never should've let you help me," I looked at them. "Baymax, find Callaghan."
"My enhanced scanner has been damaged," Baymax looked at me.
"Ugh," I groaned. I got on Baymax's back. "Wings."
"Alli, this isn't part of the plan," Fred looked at me.
"Fly," I stated. Baymax did, leaving my friends there. We went back to my place and I started to fix his scanner. "Come on."
"Your blood pressure is elevated," Baymax stated. "You appear to be distress."
"I'm fine," I nodded as I put Baymax's helmet back on him. "There. Is it working?"
"My sensor is operational."
"Good," I sighed. "Then let's get -" I tried to get Baymax's access port opened. "What?"
"Are you going to remove my healthcare chip?"
"Yes." I kept trying to open his port. "Open."
"My purpose is to health the sick and injured."
"Baymax, open your access port."
"Do you want me to terminate Professor Callaghan?"
"Just open." I took off his armor. I tried getting his armor to open. "Come on."
"Will terminating Professor Callaghan improve your emotional state?"
"Yes. No. I don' know. Open your access port."
"Is this what Zayn wanted?"
"It doesn't matter."
"Zayn programmed me to -"
"Zayn's gone!" I stopped. "Zayn's gone."
"Zayn is here."
"No," I sighed. "He's not here." Baymax showed me a video of Zayn. He was working on Baymax. It took Zayn eighty-four times to get Baymax perfect. I smiled. "Baymax, I'm so sorry. I guess I'm not like my brother."
"Alli," Honey replied.
I turned and looked at my team. "Guys, I-I, uh, I'm -" Gogo pulled me into a hug. "Sorry."
"We're going to catch Callaghan," Gogo looked at me. "And this time, we'll do it right."
"Any maybe don't leave us stranded on a spooky island next time," Niall nodded.
"Oh man," I sighed. "I'm so sorry."
