I can't breathe anymore, I'm running too hard. They're gonna catch me, they're gonna kill me. I don't know if I'm more scared of them or myself. My vision becomes spotted with black. Can't see. Can't breathe. I must keep running. I can see them. They are running as fast as me. Just a little bit further, I tell myself, just 'till I get to the school. Some one there will help. They have to help. I'm being chased by high school boys. I mean they can't just allow it. I just have to make it there. It's not my fault I like boys, not girls. How can they beat me up for it? I know it's a forbidden love, but it's not their business. I can't breathe anymore, this isn't fair. I quit paying attention to where my feet go. I fall to the ground. I scream as loud as I can. "HELP!! PLEASE!! SOMEONE!!"

    A door swings open and a young couple comes running out of their house.

    "Get away from her!" They yell at the high schoolers. "You heard me, get away from her." The high schoolers are so scared I thought they were gonna wet themselves. I'm so focused on the high schooler I don't even notice the hand next to my face. I lay my head down on the soft grass. "Sweetie, are you alright? I'm sorry they chased you," the lady bent down to my level. Her smile was the sweetest in the world. Her hair was a honey blonde. Her lips were soft and her eyes were as blue as the sky. I couldn't help but smile at her.

    "Sweetie are you alright? You took quite a fall."

    "Oh! I'm sorry I didn't mean to disturb you guys. They were chasing me because I'm different."

    "There's no need to explain why." A man bent down and kissed her on the cheek. I was in shock, in this world no one kisses each other in public. No one is ever with the opposite sex. They think we are too perfect for love, and love is the cause of all war.
