You'll Be Fine

Joe POV

I was still really upset I didn't know whether or not to tell Chloe about my feelings for her but I thought it would be too rushed. I needed to eat rather than sit here and weep so I went upstairs. I walked upstairs and heard little sobs. I saw in the corner Chloe shaking, crying and looking extremely pale.

Chloe POV

I cant believe I ran from Joe. He probably thinks that I'm a freak. I was getting worried. Not worried about me or Joe, about Caspar. What will he do to me when he gets home? What will he do to Joe? All these questions swimming around my head. I couldn't cope. Bottling all my feeling up doesn't help at all. I feel really horrific. I started to shake rapidly and uncontrollably and I was really ill as well. I hurt. Tears were streaming down my face. I was having another one of my panic attacks. Luckily, I heard footsteps coming up the stairs and then towards me. "Chloe, what's happening" he asked, running towards me. "Joe I think I'm having a p-p-panic attack.

Joe POV

S**t she's having a panic attack. Now quick Joe think Zoe used to have panic attacks when I was younger. Right first of all get a response. "Chloe can you speak to me" I asked. "Yeah" she said still shaking Check. Next thing, reassurance reassure her that she's going to be fine you are going to help her. "Right Chloe, you are going to be fine. I'm going to help you get through this panic attack" I said. Check. Next thing get her comfortable. "Chloe, I'm going to put you on the sofa to make you comfortable" I said. "Alright" she said. I picked up her lightweight and pale body up and placed her on the sofa. Check. Keep her warm. I saw some blankets on the floor so I wrapped her up in them. Check. Get her water and plenty of it. I ran to the kitchen and got her some water. "Here Chloe, drink this" I said, pressing the glass up against her lips. She took a few gulps before I placed it down on the coffee table. Check last thing is to stay with them until they calm down. I sat down next to her and she wrapped her arms around me and I wrapped mine around her. She laid her head on my chest and stayed there.

Chloe POV

I woke up a few hours later on the sofa. I have no recollection of what happened but all I knew is that I had fallen asleep with Joe next to me. "Joe" I whispered. "Yeah" he whispered. "Are you awake?" I asked. "Yeah" he said. "You" he asked back. "Yeah" I said. "Why are we whispering then" he asked. "No idea" I whispered. "Shall we stop" he whispered/. "Yeah" I said, stopping the whispering. We looked at each other and then fell into a fit of laughter.
