I felt the place next to me go down. I opened my eyes and saw Chloe getting back in bed. In daytime clothes. "Where have you been?" I asked. "Just out" she said. "Just to the pub" she said. "Clo tell me the truth" I said. "Fine I went to find Alfie" she said. "Why?" I asked, disappointed. "Because he killed my sister Joe. If that happened to Zoe wouldn't you want to have the power to kill him" she said. "Yes I would. Did he hurt you?" I asked. "Just a few scrapes and bruises. I'll be fine" she said. "Let me look" I said. I turned on the light next to me. I grabbed her arm. The cuts were deep. "What did he do it with?" I asked. "A knife" she said. "Who saved you?" I asked. "Conor and Jack" she said. "Thank god your alright. Get some sleep" I said. We both fell asleep.
