Anastasia is wearing the same thing she wore in the last chapter.

Anastasia's P.O.V.

"We're home!" My mom said coming into the house. Waking me and Dexter, who I didn't know was sleeping next to me. I rubbed my eyes and then stretched.
I looked at Dexter, "When did you get here?" I yawned.
He smiled, "A little while ago."
"What time is it?" I asked turning off the TV.
He checked his watch, "12:35."
My mom entered the den and saw our sleepy looks on our faces and said, "Hello sleepy heads. You hungry?"
"Yeah." Dexter and I both said. Even though I had those nutella covered rice cakes, I was still hungry. I couldn't even imagine how hungry Dexter was, he probably hasn't ate in 7 hours.
"Well, we got some fish." She smiled, "And guess what," without an answer she continued, "I caught a fish! F
At first, the fish my bait, and I started to pull on it. But I couldn't, so Peter helped me. And we did it together."
She started to blush at the mention of Peter's name.
"Great story, mom. Now, Dexter and I are going to get something to eat." I stood up and grabbed Dexter's hand motioning him to follow me to the kitchen. He quickly got up and followed me.
"O-okay. Well, um, I'll be outside. Skinning the fish." Mom said walking to the door.
I led Dexter to the kitchen and he sat at the counter while I searched the fridge. "What do you want to eat?" I asked him.
"Anything. I'm dying right now."
"What about a frozen pizza?" I pulled out a four cheese frozen pizza.
"Sure, I'll do it." He said getting up from his seat.
"No its okay, I got it." I read the directions on the box and preheated the oven to 400° degrees. I sat down at the counter to wait for the oven to preheat and I motioned Dexter to sit back down. He followed my motioning and sat down at the counter. He looked at me, "You know what's funny?" He continued, "This morning, we were sitting here. And I asked you to marry me. You answered a maybe. Now, a few hours later, the question still lingers. So, what I'm trying to say is, yet again, will you marry me?" He started to take out the ring from his jacket pocket.
"You know, Dexter. I think you are going to expect me to say no. Or wait a couple of months or when this," I pointed to my cast," Comes off. But I thought more about it. And I think I'm going to say, yes."
Dexter jumped out of his seat, and hugged me tightly. He pulled my close, so close I could feel his heart beat. He looked into my eyes and leaned down to kiss me. He layed his lips on mine. This kiss felt like the kiss we shared this morning, but it wasn't as unexpected or passionate as before.
We broke away, and Dexter took out the black box. He opened the box and took out the ring. I held out my hand, and he slipped the ring on my left hand's ring finger.
"Its perfect." I pecked him on the lips.
"I'm glad you like it. And that you said, yes."
"I'm glad I finally realized that I want to be with you forever."
Dexter pulled me back into his arms, and said, "How are we going to tell the family?"
"Well, does my mom know?" I thought back to that smile my mom had this morning, looking like she was hiding something.
"Yeah, she tore it out of me." I could feel him smirking.
"That sounds like my mom." I smiled.
We broke away again, and I held his hand. "Let's go."
"Now?" He asked, stopping me from dragging him to the door to outside.
"Why not?"
"Don't you think we should wait awhile, you know to get used to not being girlfriend and boyfriend. But being my fiancé."
"Who cares? Come on."
"Are you going to take this like a joke?"
"Dexter, what are you talking about? I'm not going to take this like a joke. Don't overreact." I stopped trying to drag him to the door and just stood there holding his hand.
He took a deep breath. "You're right, Anna. I'm just overreacting." He slapped a smile on his face and said, "Come on, let's go." Now he was the one dragging me.
What just happened? I was snapped out of my thought when I realized I was holding Dexter up. He starred at me, "Are you okay?"
"Yeah... Yeah, I'm fine." Just like Dexter, I slapped a smile on my face and followed Dexter outside.
Dexter and I found Aunt Susan sitting in a chair, reading a magazine. While Peter and my mom were skinning the fish in big sink for when skinning the animals you hunted. Aunt Susan looked up from her magazine, saw us, and said, "Oh hello."
She saw us wanting to know why she wasn't skinning fish with her fiancé and my mom, and said, "Oh, yeah. I smelt like fish already and I didn't want to smell like even more fish, so after dinner, I'm going to take a shower. So, right now I'm just enjoying some Cosmopolitan." She put down her magazine. "So, what have you kids been up to."
Before we could answer, Susan's eyes wandered to my left hand, my ring finger. She gasped, "Anastasia! Is this true?!" She stood up and grabbed my left hand.
I smiled, "Surprisingly, yeah."
She gasped again and dropped my hand. This time, my mom and Peter turned to us to see what Aunt Susan was gasping about. My mom saw the ring and all the color from her face disappeared. She said,"You are going to get married?!"
