A Less Than Average Romance

Chapter 13: Planning

Anastasia's outfit. It's been 6 months since the last chapter. She has her cast off.

"Okay, should we get the lilies, or the roses, or the orchids?" I kept looking throughout the flower shop.
"Any of them. Its your wedding." Danni said.
"I don't know, all of the flowers are so pretty. I wish Dexter was here." I lowered my voice. "He would help me. Unlike stare at his phone desperate for someone to text them." I mumbled.
"What?"
"Nothing, nothing. Just talking to myself."
"Whatever." Danni turned back to her phone.
"Is everything alright here?" One of the workers asked giving us a fake smiling, not really caring which flower I choose.
"Umm, well" Ignoring her cliché smile, I continued, "I don't know if I should purchase the roses, or the orchids, or the lilies."
"Well, all of them are great choices. But I think you should go with the roses."
The most expensive flower, of course.
"They are very pretty. I'll just need a minute to think about it."
Apparently, I was taking too long to think about this, which made Danni head for the door.
"Hey! Where are you going?" I yelled after her.
"I'm leaving. There's a club in downtown Chicago. Its probably much more fun than flower shopping." She turned for the door.
"Wait! You can't do that! You're my maid of honor, you're supposed to help me plan my wedding!" I grabbed her arm.
"You know what, I'm tired of all this, " She mocked my voice in a high girly tone. "Ooooo, let's go plan my wedding! It'll be so much fun! Yayyy!! I tired of this shit, now you're Miss Perfect. Get a new maid of honor. Go call up that Andrea chick. I'm leaving." This time, I didn't chase after her. I let her walk away.
The saleswoman walked to me, "So, the lilies, orchids, or roses?"

Sorry this chapter was so short. It was kind of a fill-in chapter. I'll try to update more often.
