Roy's POV
I smiled softly as I stood up from bed. I could honestly say yesterday was the best day ever. I stood in front of my mirror, getting dressed. I couldn't stop thinking about Edlyn, or rather Ed. She's just so adorable. Her golden sun kissed hair, and her golden eyes could've been her best features. But that's an understatement. It was her laugh and smile. They could light up an entire room. So now what could I say? I was falling for her. And I knew that something bad was happening to her. Just what was it? I looked at my mirror. I looked at myself in the mirror. In the mirror, stood a stranger practically. But he looked like me. With raven hair, dark yet kind onyx eyes. There was only one difference, he was smiling an honest smile. Nothing hiding behind it. And I had one person to thank for that.
Ed's POV
I had woke up early, and quickly got dressed in my usual rags. I had to clean myself still because of the dried blood on me. I sighed and grumbled as I walked down stairs, made breakfast, and then grabbed my chore buckets, and got to work. As I was working, I passed a puddle, where I couldn't help but stop and stare at my reflection. "Heh....I really do look like a girl...." I muttered. "No wonder why Roy stuck around so long yesterday...." I added. My face heated up a little bit. "Why the hell am I thinking about him?! Of all people?!" I exclaimed to no one. I sadly smiled. "Well, he was a nice person to know...." I stared at the puddle again. I saw a girlish figure with the same golden hair as me, staring back at me. Her eyes didn't have any sort of flare of determination in them, or any strength. It had seemed that maybe I was losing faith. Or giving up. Or maybe I was waiting. Waiting for someone to help.
