     Paws POV

"I saw you dancing with her last night," Blaze teased. i blushed,"s-so what?" "so you totally like her," LB said. "I've told you i dont like her," i yelled. They all looked at me like 'really.' "We know you too well Paws. We can tell you like her," Muffin said. "Ok i like her so what?" I screeched. "We knew it," they said in unison. "ok now what?" i asked. "Ask her out," LB said. "W-what n-n-no,' i stuttered. they started chanting," Ask her out. ask her out. ask her out." I was getting annoyed. "Fine," i snapped. "Really?" They all looked at me in suprise. "Y-y-yes b-but i cant do it now what about their owner?" i said trying to get out of it. "Shes out of town on a trip so our owner has to check on them every now and then," LB said. they didnt wait for me to respond and pushed me across the street. i stood shaking on Buttons porch. "This is it," i whispered. 

     Buttons POV

I heard the cat door so i roused myself from sleep. i turned the corner and saw paws. "Paws," i chirped. "H-h-hello-o B-butto-on," he stuttered. Wow hes cute when he stutters. Gaa Button snap out of it. "Wacha doin here for?" i asked. "I-i wantedto ask y-you if willyougoonadatewithme?" he said. "hu?" i asked him. "Will you go on a date with me?" he repeted. "Ya sure," i said cooly. He smiled and left," see you at sunset." OMI is this really happening? I have to get ready. Brush my fur, bath, claw polish, and my kitten dress. I cant believe im going on a date. and with paws. Im extatic right now.
