January let out a low sigh, sitting on a bus bench, awaiting for a ride.
She could hear the world around her, the excitement people had, though she could not see them.
As she heard the bus come by, she got on it, sitting in the first seat to the right.
"Sir. I apologize for asking, but may you tell me when we reach the college 14 miles from here?" She was smiling, excited to go. She wished desperatly to become an actress, even for Broadway. The stage was her blood, at least, thats what she always stated growing up.
"Sure thing ma'am." The driver stated.
She nodded, leaning her head back until she felt the soft leather on her neck. She then fell asleep.
As soon as she woke though, she passed out as the bus slammed into an abandoned skyscraper, automatically killing the driver, & causing January to hit her head on the door's pole that opens it.

As soon as she woke, she overheard two male's speaking. Then she felt an instant urge of pain, so strong she was afraid she would puke. She did her best to move, but couldn't as tears streamed down her cheeks.
"She's awake sir." A male stated. He sounded close to her age, his voice soothing.
"That she is." An older male stated.
The man says quietly "It'll be alright, I'm going to take care of you, I can fix all the damage, and give you eyesight."
January blinked, listening, as more tears streamed down.
Then a young woman spoke, January assumed it was a young nurse. "Sir, she may need painkillers."
The older male sighed. "Give them to her then!"
The younger male jumped in. "And I need her sedated, so we can do a spinal tap"
"Of course." Stated the female. January listened as she left, her heels clicking as she did. January assumed she was wearing high heels.
January was slowly loosing conciousness as she listened to the two males but was failing. Their voices were drowing.
After a few moments she heard the familiar heels. In an instant she felt a wet pad on the inside of her elbow.
"Love the hair color." The female stated in a cheerful tone. "Aqua, is it? My sister wants to do that color." She giggled. "Don't worry sweetie, you won't feel a thing shortly. Sleep if you like, we'll wake you if needed."
Then January flinched as she felt the needle puncture her skin, digging until it found her vein.
Then everything went blurry, as if it was all a dream.
As soon as she felt like she was on cloud 9, her eyes shut.
She was fast asleep.

Author's Notes: It's Bethie again! I hope this is a good first chapter. Haha the other author is better with science than I am, that's why it's January's point of view, not Aaron's (you'll meet him soon, but he was the young male).
Only reason I'm writing it is because Chris asked me to out of us both.
Hope it's good Chris! =)
