The Game

Night time

I will try my best to publish a chapter every Monday if I could. Nothing else to say so enjoy!

It was around nine thirty and I was still with Ryder. The nurse allowed him to stay later because he said he was worried about me. I was laying down on the hospital bed and looked out the window. Ryder was sitting down in a chair right beside me.

I said calmly "don't you just love the night sky."

Ryder said yea it's nice and calm" he said.

I was about to close my eyes when I herd a gun shot. A few minutes later I herd foot steps and screaming. I started panicking and screaming. Ryder grabbed my wrist and we both went into a tight bathroom. I was breathing heavily.

I was talking loudly to Ryder saying "what's going to happen."

He said "just stay calm."

I screamed "HOW CAN I IF THERES GUNSHOTS!"

I herd the room door open. I was still scared and panicking.

I said loudly "what are we going to do."

Ryder leaned in and kissed me just to make me be quiet. I said that was my first kiss in a dark bathroom.

Ryder hugged me tightly and said in a whispering voice "don't say anything."

I whispered back and said "ok."

I was still blushing from the kiss he just did to me out of nowhere a few minutes ago and my first one too.

I herd footsteps as if the shooter was looking for someone.

He punched the wall and said where is he I need to find him where is he.

Ryder said "they are looking for me" he whispered.

I whispered back to him "why what happened."

He said "my mother and father are apart of a big gang there's like fifteen people in it or something like that. Lexi's parents are apart of the gang also. Lexi's dad is the gang lord he basically knows where to find people if there's any trouble. My dad is his right hand man if there's anything going wrong he tells one of his guys to roughen them up. That's why Lexi and I are forced to date he blurted out on accident."

I said "you guys are faking it."

He said "yea but I wasn't supposed to tell anybody.

I said "its ok I'll keep it a secret."

We both herd no noise or nobody talking. Ryder opened the door and looked around the room.

He said "the coast is clear."

I said "ok sounds good."

I looked around and in the middle of the floor there was a bunch of water. I was too tired to do anything I laid down in the hospital bed. Ryder eyes were baggy and he kept on rubbing his eyes he went to sleep. After a few minutes I did also. It was the morning and I looked to the opposite side and screamed Ryder was laying beside me on the hospital bed.

I said "why are you in the bed I'm in?"

He said "because the chair wasn't comfy your bed was comfy and that's why I laid in the bed and you were there and I couldn't resist he chuckled.

I blushed a few seconds later my phone rang I answered it it was my mom.

She said "I'm coming in a few to see you and pick you up.

I said "ok" I hung up the phone.

Ryder looked at his phone and said "so that's why she's mad at me and went to get one of the gang members because I forgot I had a date with her last night."

I said "that's the worst thing a pretend boyfriend could do" I said jokingly.

He laughed and said "yep" sarcastically.
