The nurse came in and said "it's great that you are up now are you feeling a little bit better?"

I said "yea I really wasn't paying attention to that hit."

The nurse said "yea that was a pretty hard hit."

The nurse was about to close the door when there was someone at the door.

The nurse said to me "someone named Ryder and his girlfriend is here to see you."

I smiled big then it started to fade I said you could let them in.

The nurse said "ok" and opened the door wider.

I said in my mind this is the moment I've been waiting for I've been thinking about this ever sense Ryder mentioned he had a girlfriend.

I looked closer and it was someone with brown hair I sighed. I saw it was the person that just just hated me because she thinks I'm not good in softball.

Lexi she looked at me in the hospital bed and said "wow really nice you really took that hit for the team...literally." She started to laugh at me.

Ryder said "I know she's not your greatest person in the world but at least be nice to her because she's injured.

Lexi looked at the floor then at Ryder and said "sorry"

Lexi's phone rang it was the coach I could tell because he was being really loud over the phone. Lexi hung up her phone. She said she had to go sub for the game because of my injury.

She kissed Ryder and she looked at me and smirked. I looked at her in disgust.

She went up to me close where Ryder couldn't hear her and said "you better watch out because he's mine."

She walked out the room saying bye see you cheerfully and closed the door.

It was just me and Ryder.

Ryder said "are you feeling ok."

I said "yea I'm pretty sure I'm going to back at home by tonight."

He said "that's good."

I blurted out "hey wanna play truth or dare."

I put my hands over my mouth.

Ryder laughed and said "yea sure you go first."

I said "ok how many girls  have you dated."

He hesitated and said "yea um seven...."

I said "wow that's a lot" super shocked.

He said "how about you sense you asked me."

I said "nobody zero."

He said "oh.."

Ryder was thinking he said "I've got nothing"

I laughed and said "its ok."

For the rest of the day I talked to Ryder laughed with him and got to know him more better. It was around six o clock and I herd a knock on the door. My mom ran in and hugged me.

She said "are you ok" hugging me tighter.

I said "yes" and smiled. She told me "I've talked to the nurse and you could go home around 10 o clock at night I have to go back to work now see you."

I said "bye."

She looked at Ryder and said "hello" then rushed to the door and closed it.
