Her life is far from perfect, but then again, who's is? With all the trials and tribulations, life is one big quiz. Picking up a paper and pen, the girl pours out her heart. She gives the poem all she's got, engraving emotion in every part. The words flow like water, each stanza describing her life. She's finally done and reads it back, each word cuts like a knife. It starts with everyday aches and pains that every normal kid has, but then it looks deeper into the secrets of her past. How at the tender age of four, her mother began to call her "whore." How when she celebrated six years of age, she was the target of her fathers drunk rage. How once she was Locked out for days during winter. How mommy often forgot to feed her dinner.shes crying hard now, but silently. She doesn't want to wake them, she doesn't want to see the belt so early in the day, when the sun is just rising up over the hay. Her tears have subsided, she slips into sleep. Her rest is uneasy, the fear runs too deep. But for now she must just endure the ride, with only her paper and pen by her side.
