I am Sammy.

I am 13.

In over a year, I have not been seen.

Only my grave is visible to you,

just a headstone, some flowers, too.

It was almost two years ago, when I became dead.

My daddy had shot me, right in my head.

I am Sammy.

I am thirteen.

I just want to be a normal teen.

But my dad took it all away,

all my life, it just took a day.

A day of drinking, of fighting with mom.

The sound of a gunshot, its just like a bomb.

He never cared, that's one thing I always knew.

I just wish mommy wasn't here too. Yes, you heard me, he killed my mother.

He saw us both as just a bother. When he had finished, he saw what he'd done;

pointing it to himself, he also died with the gun.

It's all because my daddy likes to drink.

If only that didn't mean, we all had to sink.

Into the ground, forever cold,

always unmoving, never growing old. I am Sammy.

I am thirteen.

I no longer have life, but I have a dream.

My dream is to stop, daddies like mine,

who like to drink far too much wine. My dream is to stop all of the pain.

All of the torture, without any gain.

My name is Sammy.

I am thirteen.

I wanted to live, not die with a scream.
