You don't need water to feel like you're drowning. You don't have to be alone to feel utterly isolated. You don't have to be caught in the storm to feel the wind. But you have to care before you can break.

A few weeks ago I was walking by, a sailor on her ship. A few weeks ago I saw the wave that made my whole boat flip. The pitter patter on the roof, the wind screaming outside. The silent urge to run away, the need to go and hide. No words can come to mind, face as blank as this page. Meanwhile the storm batters away at my heart with newfound rage. Wreaking havoc on my heart, tearing it to shreds. My mind spins in circles, a bright light stuck in my head. My fears get taller, the waves of them grow. Bigger and bigger, terrifyingly large, they sure rock this show. My boat is tipping over, I'm grabbing for a gun. When this ship is capsized, it's time to start the fun. Hell is my home, a comfort and sweet prize. I'll pull the trigger happily, ready for my demise.
