I don't know much how MCR started, but, I'll share you the info I remember.
Gerard Way actually joined a band which I forgot the name and he was the guitarist. Although, he's also kicked out due to the lack of skill of playing guitar.
After some time, Gerard is having so many problems that he started writing and composing some songs about himself and his conditions. Then, he started a band in which he named "My Chemical Romance".
Also, MCR has a great variation of music. Their songs are not rock all the time, sometimes it can be a touching and relatable song. Like "Welcome to the black parade".
At first, I'm not really used with MCR's music but then I also started to love it because I can see the beauty of their genre.
The first song I met from them is "Blood", next is "Na Na Na", then "Welcome to the black parade", and so on.
Oh gawd, I can't choose between Helena and Mama! WAHHHH
Mama is my favorite MCR song, but I think you'll like Helena better. So check it out now by clicking the video in this chapter!
