Liam Payne was always the good boy. Always pleasing his elders, never questioning what he was told. He did this for his mother, after having her husband leave her and her son, then falling into the deep and dark pit of alcoholism - it's the least Liam could do.

But with one argument, one fight - a few words were exchanged that Liam still doesn't know if she meant them or not, but either way - Liam changed.

He told his mum to put the fucking bottle down and get a decent job. Told her that if she really meant what she said, not to expect him this holiday. He told her, turning back one more time before leaving forever, that he loved her.

All she said was fuck off.

WARNINGS:

This story is not intended to insult anyone, not intended to discriminate and does occasionally mention a boyxboy relationship - although the main characters are heterosexual.

This story does mention the use of drugs, alcohol and other illegal things such as vandalism and robbery although the story is not just about that.
