Chapter Three

As you walked towards him, you were feeling so anxious and thoughts were overflowing in your mind. What if he fires me? What if he is mad at me? A lot of what if questions came into mind. "(Y/l/N) what didn't you tell me this?" He said to you, you two were in live room,, "What do you mean by that exactly Mr.Stump" You said to him nervously, "You know what I mean."He said as he glared at you. "I-I didn't want to bring it up, and I needed a job and I knew she had a relationship with you but I didn't want to bring it up, and not get the job" You said to him anxiously. "And what made you think that you wouldn't get the job (y/n)?" He told you while not trying to laugh. "People always said that you loved her a lot and anything that reminds you of her will kill you especially me, since-" "No need to finish the sentence (y/l/N)" He said to you,now his face expression is blank. You seen tears dripping down his cheek. "You can leave now." He told you. He turned around and sat on the chair that is in there. "You said I can but I decided to stay and talk to you." You told him bravely, you were so nervous, since he can fire you but you wanted to help him. "Don't you think it's time to move on Mr.Stump?" You said to him while getting another chair and placing it next to Patrick. No comment or answer came from him. "I know how you feel, she was my best friend, she was there for me when no one else was." You said to him. "I just c-can't" He said to you, his voice was cracking, he is on the edge of breaking down. "Hope you love hugs cause I'm giving you one!" You told him as you got in front of him and wrapped your arms around him, laying your head on his shoulder, you felt his arms wrapping around you, "This feels great" You muttered under your breath. "It really does." You heard Patrick. "Oh I'm sorry I didn't mean to say it out loud." You told him while laughing,you and him were still hugging,and you were enjoying this. "You remind me of her so much, in ways I can't explain, your voice, smile, laugh,basically all but your way of style." He said to you. He let go of you and stared into your eyes, you feel the connection he has with you now. "Thank you so much (y/n)I believe I can move on now, especially when you hugged me." He said to you and he gave you a wink too. Your face was also blushing too, you couldn't help it when he's around. "Wow, we've been in here for awhile, almost a hour and a half.!" Patrick said. "Time for lunch!" You said outloud. You and Patrick got out of the room to ask the boys where they want to go for lunch. They were all at the door, they immediately backed up as the door opened but they fell down. "We've seen and heard everything." Joe said, which is on the ground still with Pete and Andy. "You've seen nothing" you told him as Patrick said "Also, you've heard nothing." Patrick looked at you with a grin on his face. "I'm glad we talked, we're talking now and I can look at you (y/n)" Patrick said to you as the boys were getting up off from the floor. "I am too Mr.Stump" you told him. "Just call me Patrick, we're friends here." He said to you while laughing at the boys who were giving you and him strange and funny face expressions."So, whose hungry?" You yelled, you heard four boys shouting out "Me!"
"Where shall we all eat?" Pete asked, "I don't know really, there's so many options" Joe said, "I'm new here so don't ask me, I expect y'all to know where to go!" You said while laughing. "We all don't know" Pete said, "We have ate at every place around here." Andy said, "And I'm getting sick of it." Patrick said. "Maybe I can make something for all of us." You told them. "Are you sure?" Pete asked "yeah are you sure? ,Joe eats a lot of food." Pete said. "Yeah I have to admit that I love food." Joe said while running his hands through his hair. "Do you all like Italian food?" You asked them with a grin.
"Sure I guess" Patrick said, "Yeah we all been at a place called "Olive Garden" it's good" Joe said, "I'm fine with that" Andy said, "Same here" Pete said, Great, you thought in your mind, you decided to make some lasagna and salad with garlic bread. "Good, let me get cooking." You said, "It might take awhile though" You told them sadly, "We all can wait especially if it's you" Pete said happily "Of course you would say that Pete!" Andy said "Just admit you love her!" Joe shouted at him jokingly, "Guys leave him alone and let her get cooking!" Patrick said.
                                             Hour and a half later
"The table is set, drinks are served and there's food served too!" You told to all of the guys, "Finally!" Joe said as him and the rest of the guys got up to eat, you sat down and Pete sat next to you. He took a bite and when he finished eating the bite he took, he told you "That is good!", "Thanks Pete" you said to him, the other guys are eating and they all shook their heads yes to what Pete said, which made you feel great about your cooking. You gave a smile, and started eating.
You finished your plate and so did the boys, you were about to clean up but Andy,Joe and Patrick offered to clean up, leaving you and Pete with nothing to do. "I just remembered something, I have to practice for our song we're performing in a couple days" Pete told you, "Mind if I come along?" You asked him shyly, "Of course"He told you with a big smile on his face. You and him both went to the live room, and Pete immediately began playing his bass guitar. You looked around the live room, you seen Andy's drums, Patrick's guitar and Joe's too. And then the lights went dim, and you turned around, seeing Pete with a bouquet of roses, and walked towards you and asked you "Will you go on a date with me (y/n)?" He looked so cute when he asked you that and you couldn't help it but to say yes. "Yes, I will, Pete" You told him with a smile and you took the bouquet of roses. And when you took the roses, he leaned in closer to you, and kissed you, you kissed back. "Be ready for tonight at 7:00" Pete said when you two stopped kissing, "Where are we going?" You asked him. "It's a surprise, just wear nice clothing" He told you. Patrick, Joe, and Andy all came inside the live room, it seemed like they knew Pete was going to ask you, "Pete, I knew you could do it." Andy said to Pete, "It wasn't so hard" Joe also told him, "It was a piece of cake!" Pete said while laughing, "After how many times you kept on repeating to yourself of what you were going to say to her?" Patrick told him, giving him a glare.
