Chapter 12

Alpha POV

"ugh! You idiots!" I screamed at the stupid men who coward before me. "why didn't it last?" I paced back and forth.

"s-sir we did s-say its a working progress, w-we need more time" charlie stuttered as he kneeled in front of me.

"we don't have any time!" I sat down on my chair. The cathedral was a dusty old bastard, we took it after we killed all the monks. Idiots. Never put up a fight. Just as I said that foxtrot came bursting through the door out of breathe.

"sir! Sir! An elder is here to see you!" he shouted holding onto his knees trying to get his breathing back to normal.

"well don't just stand there! Let'em in!" I shouted they opened the door and air stepped in. Oh shit. Must stay calm.

"Air what a lovely surprise" I grinned. I tried to hide the fact that I was shit scared of him, he was more powerful than me and could easily kill me. So I do my best not to piss him off.

"I have no time for your games alpha... Is she on our side or not" he said with a emotionless stare to me, I gulped but I tried to keep my cool.

"we had her air but some little shits" as I eyed the men that were at the side with there heads down in shame "Made the formula wrong, it only lasted a few nights... But you have my word that we will have her... Are you going to tell me why she is so important? I mean I'm doing all of this and yet you still haven't told me what the real purpose is" I said, my leg was over one arm rest and I was leaning on the other. I tried to look as relaxed as I could.

"I shall tell you when the time comes alpha... In the meantime get her on our side or your consequences will be serious..." air said

"what's the big deal here air?! What's this girl got to do with anything?!" I shouted sitting up about to stand when a huge wind pinned me down to the chair with so much force.

"she is none of your concern..." air turned to leave "if I catch you kissing Hannah again, you will end up dead do I make myself clear?"

I could only nod in reply as I rubbed the back of my head as it hurt from impact, from the wind.He left with that. Ugh. It annoys me how he hasn't told me everything only as to what I have to do.

"alpha..." I turned to see bravo my trusted friend. I have known him for a long time and I can trust him with my very life.

"bravo, I don't understand him anymore, her? Hannah I'm guessing..."

"alpha if I may, you can earn her trust easier maybe..."

"how do you suppose we do that?"

"it doesn't matter sir, thinking about it, it won't work, excuse me I must go to air"

Hannah POV

I walked home with everyone, only I was holding Marks waist side hugging into him, he wrapped his arm was around me also. It felt so natural and also, Mark is so loving now. Its like a switch, from the man who was cold about a month ago to being this fun loving person...

"hey ill take you home..." mark looked down and smiled.

"okay mark" I smiled

"ill see you guys back at the house!" mark waved.

"can't we come?" BamBam blinked like a puppy would. He tried so hard.

"nah plus we are going to be working on our project" I said and mark nodded in agreement.

"okay then see you guys later" Lucy hugged us and the others waved goodbye. I love these guys so much, I don't know where I would be without them. We arrived home and I took my shoes off and bag down letting out a deep sigh.

"what was so exhaustin-" I was cut off as I turned around and mark cupped my face and kissed me. I didn't refuse it I kissed back. I pulled away before it could of gotten hotter.

"that was a wonderful surprise" I smiled as I looked up into his Soft loving eyes.

"I'm glad beautiful" he kissed my forehead before leaving and walking into the kitchen.

"how does a pizza sound?" he called through to me.

"sounds good!" I walked into my room and got changed into simply clothes, or my pjs but its comfy and mark doesn't seem to mind.

"that's it ordered" I walked through and mark put down his phone.

"come here" he said holding his arms out. I ran and koala hugged him. Laughing he spun me and he put me down on the couch, grabbing the remote and putting on the TV.

"so what is ma lady wanting to watch?" he asked me looking at me while point the remote to the TV.

"ANIME! Hahaha I kid whatever" we laughed and he put vampire knight on, he knows me so well already. After a few episodes, we were hugging together and further more closer. We had gotten closer and I'm so happy that we have, also he's not that same cold heart jerk.

"honestly love this, zero! No it's okay! Don't cry" I said hearing mark laugh beside me "being a vampire would be cool! Why would you fight it?!" I called out to the TV. Mark went silent, he got up and went into the kitchen. I turned around on the couch facing the kitchen.

"mark?..." no reply.

"mark..." I said standing up, pausing the TV leaving the eery silence. I walked into the kitchen, he was leaning over the sink, his hair covering his face but I could tell he was crying.

"mark..." I said hugging him from behind, he tensed at my touch but then relaxed.

"its okay, I'm here" he stood up straight and turned and pulled me into a embrace.

"Hannah I need to tell you something... You need to know..."

"know what?"

"you need to know something about me... It could ruin all of this but I can't fight it any longer..."

"mark I will never look at you differently..." I cupped his face and pecked his lips. "tell me... I will never judge you, I can't I'm no different..."

"...hannah..." he looked at me, straight into my eyes. They were beautiful, glimmering under the artificial light, yet his pale face lit them up.

"yes?..."

"...im a vampire..."
