Chapter 24

Hannah POV

Soon mark stepped in front of me blocking Airs attack. Once Air was pushed back, mark came down to my level.

My whole body was numb, lifeless, It was hard to stand properly, My knees shaken and my breathing increased, mark cupped my face, his face was filled with worry and fear. for my life.

"Hannah are you okay?"

"no... What's happening?" I say trying to focus on his face, I couldn't see that well as my body was shaking so much it was hard to Focus on anything.

"Air, what is the meaning of this?" mark and I turned our attention to who was speaking; it was fire.

"I will have my darling once again!" Air exclaimed in a insanely manner, almost what a mental patient would say, as if he was going to go on a murderous rampage "I will have my Yuki again! You can't take her again"

"who?! For god sake man who?!" earth exclaimed.

"Yuki... Yuki young..."

Young? That's my surname, who's Yuki?

"Air this is madness, Yuki is gone, dead. Stone dead. Get over it! She was never yours in the first place!"

"QUIET!" within a second, fire was destroyed by Air, turned into a pile of ashes, we all stood back in shock. We couldn't believe he killed another member of the council.

"...Air, I'm arresting you for the murder of the elder Fire..." water stepped forward, cautiously, he knew that Air was crazy, we all knew something was off with him, but I don't think we could ever imagine something like this. Killing his partners, members of the council, he was breaking more rules than glass breaking.

"stand back water! You will be next!" Air warned. But water wasn't backing down and earth joined water pushing forward. "I warned you!" But with one swift move, Air destroyed them both just like fire. We couldn't understand how the grand elders could be defeated so easily, they were the strongest of the strong, the powerful of power, what was happening? Was Air becoming stronger? If so, how?

"your next thunder!" Air said, stalking thunder to the corner. We could see that thunder was getting his magic ready to attack Air, and at the same time walking back wards.

"Air! Stop this! Stop!" mark was about to tackle Air to save thunder but it was too late, thunder didn't have a chance against him. So now the only people in the room was me, Mark and the psycho Air.

"what you are trying to archive here?!" Mark said I was kneeling on the floor trying to stop the dizziness and tiredness, what was happening to me?

"Mark... I'm sorry my dear boy, but you can't have her either... Only me"

Air brought his hands to His face, laughing into them, he was crazy. No. Insane.

"what the bloody hell are you on about?! Hannah is mine and you heard Fire! This Yuki is dead!"

"NO!... She's over there..." she grinned evilly and pointed to me. Mark followed his stare to me.

"that's Hannah you old moron! Yuki isn't alive!"

"oh Mark, you really don't understand do you?!" air shocked us with his words.

"then... T-then tell us..." I weakly said.

"since you are here and Mark won't be alive when I'm through with him ill tell you..."

He paused and stood up straight. His eye twitching with madness and Mark standing outraged and standing protecting me.

"ill even tell you about the fire Hannah..."

the fire. The fire that happened when I was a child. He knew? He didn't tell me?! He didn't do anything about it?!

"you sick fuck..." I crawled forward a little but stopping because my body was shutting down. But my mind wasn't, I was angered and mad.

"now now Yuki... Your strength is weakening, please relax my dear"

"'fuck off" I said. Mark rushed over to me holding me in his arms as he kneeled beside me, his touch was comforting me, mark looked down at me wiping my tears. I must of been crying but I didn't even know, I don't even have any control anymore, my whole body shutting down, tired and weak.

"well... Yuki was your mother Hannah..."

Yuki... She was my mum?...

"she was member of the council... The power of fire aand the power of pain... It was never seen before that's why she was made am elder... Ice stole her heart before you, bastard. Married her then gave birth to you..." his face turned disgusted and sour "all was well... For them... I didn't have her... She was meant for me not him... Then a brilliant idea came to mind... If I can't have her no one can... So on her birthday I knew everyone was round to celebrate, my timing was perfect, everyone was there, so I killed everyone... Then I saw you crying, but you weren't being killed or burnt like them... No... You were glowing... Crying mess but you were... Your parents couldn't do anything about it even with there powers, the fire I made was too strong... When I saw you... that's when I knew I was to have you, I gave you to the nearest orphanage... To keep you safe, when you are older I would come back to get you... And Now you have returned to me..."

what?... I'm... I... I can't...

"Hannah?..." mark said but everything was a blur.

"you... You... YOU MONSTER!!!!!" I shouted and tried to move but I couldn't.

"you bastard! You big bastard!" Mark called out to Air. I was so grief stricken, how? What? He killed my family? he's going to pay, pay in his own blood.

But now I couldn't believe  what I was listening to, my family, was this all true, I could feel my mouth opening wanting to scream so badly but it wouldn't let me. My tears burnt my eyes, they left my eyes leaving rivers. I looked at Mark, He hugged me tightly. I felt so much worse than what I had already felt, my heart torn to shreds in a matter of minutes.

"now, that's enough talking its time my darling to kill the brat who is standing between us"

"don't worry Hannah... Ill make him pay... I love you..." mark kissed my forehead before starting up and turning to Air.

Then the fighting started...
