Chapter 20

Hannah POV

Its Friday and we are going  back to school. But the thing is we are probably going to be late at this very minute.

"mark quick grab my shorts!"

"which ones?!"

"my pj ones! I'm gonna bring them with me for tonight"

"oh yeah the joys of getting picked up by my granddad" he gave out a frustrated sigh before handing me my shorts and exiting my apartment."just like a a kid and now this"

"awww is Mark embarrassed?"

"no I'm not but you will be"

"how do you mean?"

"oh you will need to find out " he gave me a smirk of playful evil before getting into our car. We barely use it but we were going to be late at the
moment and running would be faster but we don't want heads to turn like that.

We then drove to school and we were bang on time. We met up with the others and walked into school.

I took my seat in my class beside Mark and he smiled over to me before facing the front.

- time skip to end of day -

The bell went and I grabbed the stuff out of my locker. Ugh. I am not looking forward to seeing Air. Its something about him that makes my skin crawl, and not in a good way. Everytime I see him. It just makes me want to run in a different direction that he is in.

"is the old man picking you up then?" Jackson asked wrapping his arm around Mark who was holding my hand, but it was something About his touch that wasn't right.

"yep the joys am I right?" he said. Hmmm. He seems a little shaken.

"mark you okay?" I asked him as Jackson ran ahead and bear hugged BamBam, Jr and the others watched in a playful disgusted manner.

"yeah why?"

"its just you went to the bathroom tired then came back cheerful, I don't know you seemed just... Like... I don't know" i said. Its true, he was really down and looked tired even though he doesn't sleep or anything but something is wrong, he's cheerier.

"yeah I had some blood I'm okay now" he smiled. I still wasn't convinced but I didn't want to argue, with him, so instead I smiled and cuddled into him.

We then saw a black limo with black tinted windows, I'm guessing this is Air. Thinking he's better than everyone, so he turns up in a fucking limo. This is embarrassing, this isn't something important or anything, its unnecessary.

"come on Hannah, see you guys later " mark waved and the guys waved back. I hugged Lucy then reluctantly got in.

Mark didn't hold my hand and silence was in the air. Something is wrong with him, I glanced over and could see him gazing outside the window freely, with a blank stare he didn't look at me even with me looking.

Must have a lot on his mind since we will be staying with his grandad. Mark doesn't tell me much about his past life in fact, he doesn't really tell me anything. He told me that him and his grandfather got turned into a vampire the same way and both got disowned but that's about it.

I couldn't help but feel lonely, my mate was beside me yet he was far away. Something didn't feel right about him, he didn't have the same feel about him. Its hard to explain but I feel like something wasn't right or he was hiding something from me, A secret that he's keeping from me.

Mark POV

I went to the bathroom after class, I had a small package of blood with me and I was really thirsty, normally I would just race home but the feeling was strong, being around Hannah is harder than I thought.
