"That's ok, I've never had a mute friend before. This will be fun." Becca said with a smile as we walked through the door to the cafeteria.
I just nodded and sat down next to her after grabbing some food.
"Ok, so let me tell you about the school," she pointed to some people wearing dark clothes in the corner, "those are the goths," she pointed to another table with people reading books and doing homework, "the nerds," she pointed to a table closest to the window with a bunch of guys with sports jerseys, "the jocks," she pointed to the table next to the jocks that some girls with slutty clothes sat on, "and the whores."
I heard a whistle as one of the jocks checked out a girl from the whore table. She "accidentally" dropped her napkin on the floor and as she bent down her tiny skirt rided up and showed her thong. I looked away. That's not an image I want to see.
"And these are my peeps." She pointed to the people coming up to our table. She said their names as they all sat down, "That's Jenna, and her boyfriend Kyle." They both smiled at me. "Across from you is Grace and her boyfriend Liam. Mia and her boyfriend Ethan. And the last, and definitely the least, Mason." she said, gesturing to the guy sitting down next to me.
"Ah, Becca, you know you love me." Mason said with a smirk.
"In your dreams." she replied.
"So, who's this pretty lady?" Mason asked as I blushed.
"Everyone, this is Ana. She's new."
They all said hi and I waved.
"How do you like it here, Ana?" Mia asked. I shrugged.
"You don't talk much?" Jenna asked. I nodded.
"Wait, you do talk much or you don't?" Ethan asked.
"Guys, she's mute." Becca finally told them. They all made the 'o' shape with their mouths.
"If anything, that turns me on more." Mason said with a smirk. My eyes widened. He hadn't stopped staring at me since he sat down.
"Mason's a man whore." Becca stated.
"Hey! I prefer the word tramp." We all started laughing at him, even I did my little silent laugh.
"So, Mason, where's Eli?" Liam asked. For some reason I got shivers when he said that name, and not the bad ones.
"He's doing... business." Everyone at the table seemed to get what he was saying except me.
We talked for a little bit longer until the bell rang, then I walked with Mia and Ethan to my next period.
