"I wanna see it." Alanis leans foward excited.

I place the next three patties with cheese on the bun. Alanis a vegetarian, so I'll make her a grilled cheese towards the end. "I'll show it to you later when I put ointment on it."

I sauté the onions, drain the French fries, bring out a head of lettuce, and get the bacon out of the oven. Skillfully, I cut a tomato and put any 'toppings' in different bowls, I make a burger buffet.

Getting a clean skilket, I make Alanis her grilled cheese with the crust cut off. Placing it on a plate, I place it down infront of her.

She bounces in her seat. "Can I see it now?!?!?!"

I pull off the slightly to big shirt. Slowly, I unwrap the clear Saran Wrap, and take the soft cloth off my tattoo on my upper left rib cage. The gold writing stand out surprisingly well against my brown skin. The paint brush and pencil looked awesome. Not to realistic yet not to cartoon-ish.

"Is that Latin?" Alanis leans forward and inspects my tattoo closely.

Axen translates the Latin. "And it is real. It is written in my hand. I create."

"That's so pretty!" Alanis exclaimed in a high pitched voice.

"Thanks." I smile at Alanis. "You know, I'll do your first tattoo for you."

"Wait." Koren walks over to me only for him to set me on a counter. He's eye level to my tattoo.

"These words. They're a creation spell. This is black magic. Not your cookie cutter white magic stuff. Where did you find this?" He looks up at me.

"Online. Supposedly a spell book dating back to Salem. It's where all my spells for my books come from." I look at him confused.

"Salem. Great. Those bitches deserved to roast." Koren mutters under his breath. "This spell, it's feeding off your life force. You said we're book characters, I guarantee this is what brought us here." He places his hand on the tender area, and his hand heats up.

His hands start to burn my skin. I can't stop from crying out at the pain. Koren moves his hand, and we look at the red blistered area.
