I can't win, I can't reign
I will never win this game
Without you, without you
I am lost, I am vain,
I will never be the same
Without you, without you

"War? Are you kidding me. War?" Axen looks at me like I'm crazy.

I won't run, I won't fly
I will never make it by
Without you, without you
I can't rest, I can't fight
All I need is you and I,
Without you, without you

"Oh, don't worry. I'm not planning an attack, you are." I smirk at the smart girl who's sporting doe eyes.

Can't erase, so I'll take blame
But I can't accept that we're estranged
Without you, without you
I can't quit now, this can't be right
I can't take one more sleepless night
Without you, without you

"I didn't agree to this." Her voice gets higher into an offended tone, and her right hand touches her chest.

I won't soar, I won't climb
If you're not here, I'm paralyzed
Without you, without you
I can't look, I'm so blind
I lost my heart, I lost my mind
Without you, without you

"You signed the contract when you became friends with me. It was in the fine print." A smile curls onto lips.

"I never signed a contract." She starts to get irate.

"No, but you did give me your soul."

"No. I. Didn't." Her most used voice comes out. Condescending.

"Do you really trust me planning an attack. I don't think jumping out from behind a bush and throwing glitter is an exceptable method." I knows she's hooked when realization flashes through her eyes.

"*Grumble Grumble Grumble*"

"I'm sorry, what was that." I cup my hand around my ear.

"I said, I'll do it." Axen basically screams at me, and then makes a not pleasant comment.

We all head to the library, and sit on the olive green sofa. She walks over to a shelf, and pulls out a book. The Art of War.

"The men on the ground knows tactics, and the man in the chair knows strategy. I'm giving you basics on this book." She looks to all of us in turn.

"Bring war material with you from home, but forage on the enemy. One cartload of the enemy's provisions is equivalent to twenty of one's own.

We bring our own supplies. We can't go empty handed, we don't know what we're headed into, so we at least need the basic necessities. We might be able to use resources where we go.

Humanity and justice are the principles on which to govern a state, but not an army; opportunism and flexibility, on the other hand, are military rather than civic virtues.

This is war, not tea time. We have to play with the hand dealt to us. We have to adjust and adapt. We have to have a basis perception on what's around us.

"To fight and conquer in all your battles is not supreme excellence; supreme excellence consists in breaking the enemy's resistance without fighting.
