Sneaking around Okasis

Y/n pov

I looked and watched the village, hoping to sneak down and find some food. Some kids noticed me and tried to throw me food only to be pulled away by their parents, but I respect their care or me. Soon the guard under me fell asleep, I carefully climbed down and hid behind a food cart, once another guard went by I grabbed some bread and an apple and carried them back to the roof. I saw another she-cat, like me, walking around, her fur was light brown with dark brown stripes and green eyes. She looked both ways before bounding apart from the walking crowd of people and started climbing my way. I lowered myself into a ready crouch and waited for her, soon she got to my level and I tackled her, holding her to the ground. "Where did you come from!" she asked wide eyes staring at me. "I'm hiding from Okasis, who are you and why are you here" I asked still holding onto her tightly. "I'm Emerald, name giving by my eyes, and this is where I stay" she said pointing to a cat sized crack in another wall. "Sorry, but don't you have to jump to get their" I asked getting off of her. "Yep, Zane knows I like their, he also knows i'm trouble in Okasis, so I had to make it somewhat hard to reach. Luckily for me hes never seen my human form, but he knows I have one, he knows me as Pika the village girl" I nodded. "I'm Y/n, and I was Zane's pet a long time ago but left and joined Phoenix Drop. Anyways I'm stuck here, can I stay with you" I asked pointing to the small food I have. "That explains why I can't sneak out and grab food anymore, sure you can stay with me" Emerald led me to the side of the house. The funny thing is her home was in the side of Zane's castle, it took awhile but we finally jumped over all the houses and only one is left, the one that led to the little den. Emerald backed up far, and darted forward, she leaped high into the air before landing perfectly on the small edge of the hole, she jumped the small way down into the den, her head popped out. "You got this, it's not hard, it shouldn't be at least" I nodded. I walked back and crouched, using all my power I darted forward, I didn't know I could run this fast. I started lightly hopping and when I get to the edge I leaped, I was barely short but luckily made it enough to pull myself up and into the den. "Nice jump, anyways meet my family, we will help you get back home If you want". "Thank you so much" she nodded and led me down a small stone tunnel. When we came out of the other side it led to a small room for cats, she moved a hidden rug and jumped down a hole, I followed, covering the hole again as i fell. When i reached the bottom I landed on a soft bed, Emerald shifted back to normal so i did to, her hair was light brown and went all the way down her back. "Y/n this is Cake and Muffin, that's their real names but their village names are Chase, for Cake, and River, for Muffin" I looked at the two girls. Cake has Blue eyes and golden/light brown hair, Muffin has dark brown hair with blue high lights. "Cake can you see if the others are here, we need to help Y/n find her way home" Cake nodded and ran off. "Hi, as you know I'm Muffin" Muffin said running up close to me, he brown ears straight up in curiosity. "Nice to meet you, I'm Y/n, do you know Phoenix Drop" I asked. "YES, I love Phoenix Drop, it's so beautiful their, but it's fun the mess with people here" I rolled my eye as Cake came back, her voice soft like Cassie. "Their not here Emerald, maybe they already left?". "I bet they went hunting, anyways all our escape holes are cut off, we need to get Y/n home, before her friends come here and get trapped to" we all nodded, Cake sat beside me. "Don't worry, we'll get you to your friend" she said soothingly. These people are so nice, one day I will repay them.
