"Toby!" I cried out. "Oh my gosh, you look horrible!"
The nurse came in, and started fussing with my IV and things.
"Toby, Toby..." I said.
"You look... Injured?" Toby said playfully. "I'm doing pretty fine."
The nurse told me I'd have to get up and start walking now. She already had a pair of crutches.
"Uh oh" I said. "Toby, please don't leave..."
Toby laughed. "I'll stay right here by your side."
The nurse had a hard time getting me out of bed and I finally got my shoulders over the crutches.
I took one shaky step, and then Ken came running in.
She painfully crashed into me, then hugged me so tight it hurt even more.
"OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSH" Ken said.
( A/N I typed in ohmy and it auto corrected to THAT! Haha)
"Ouch." I wheezed.
"Oh my gosh!" She said. "I can't believe I didn't come to see you!!"
"I was okay, before you came." I chuckled.
"Hey Toby." She said. "Oh my..." Her voice trailed off.
She was looking at the bandage wrapped all the way down Toby's leg.
"I'm guessing you got burned?" She said apologetically.
"Yeah, but I'm doing okay now." He said.
I barely got used to my crutches. My whole body was stuff from only sitting in bed one day.
I walked a bit and we talked until Ken had to leave.
"Morgan, there's something I have to tell you." Toby said seriously.
"What is it Toby?" I asked.
Toby seemed to snap out of something. "N-never mind."
"Really, what??" I begged him to tell me.
"I said its NOTHING." He said firmly, a little bit angry.
That hurt. "Okay..." I mumbled.
After that he got up and left the room without a word.
