Sunshine

The snow crunched under Nico's shoes as he made his way down the white path. He smiled brightly when he sat next to Will.
He was quiet for a little bit before he started singing.
You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are grey
You'll never know dear, how much I love you
So please don't take my sunshine away
He paused.
The other night dear, as I lay sleeping
His voice tightened.
I dreamed I held you in my arms
His lip wavered as his eyes filled with tears. He didn't bother stopping them, there was no one around to see.
When I awake dear, I was mistaken
Tears slid freely down his cold face. His voice broke.
And I held my head and cried.
He bit back a sob, and leaned forward to press his forehead to the cold, stone slab in front of him. He felt the engravings underneath his skin.
